A few years ago, I managed an Instagram account dedicated to our family and heritage, sharing interesting facts. Recently, when I tried to log in, I received a message about an unusual login attempt and was prompted to enter a verification code sent to the email linked to the account, which was partially hidden. Unfortunately, I can't recall the complete email address. Although I know my password is correct, I can verify details like the account creation date, location, top logins, and even provide photo identification if needed to prove ownership.

Hello, last week my account was hacked. I created a new one and reported the old one. However, Instagram disabled my new account, claiming I violated guidelines. Strangely, the account that was taken over is still active. I have sent three emails with ID photos to prove my identity for the new account but received no response. Now, I can't even create a new account with my name as it violates guidelines. It's frustrating that despite my efforts, the hacker's account is still operational. It has been over a week, and I am yet to hear back from Instagram.

I uninstalled my Instagram app to update it with the Apple ID linked to my phone. After reinstalling, I needed to log in, but I couldn't recall the password. I tried to reset it, but the linked email is old and I don't remember the password for it. I didn't add my Facebook or phone number, thinking it wasn't necessary. I now realize I was wrong. The username for the account is josemontemayor_. Instagram helps me stay connected with friends, so I really want to regain access. I'm hoping for a password reset to be sent to my current email so I can update the password and add my phone number, correct email, and Facebook to the account for future reference.

I last accessed my Instagram account on Wednesday, September 26. Recently, I received an email notification stating that my account's email had been changed to a random Russian email address, which I did not authorize. Additionally, my linked phone number was removed. When I attempted to revert these changes and log back in, I was directed to a page requesting verification of my identity through email. Unfortunately, the verification code was sent to an unknown email address, not the one associated with my account where I receive all my Instagram notifications. I have been unable to access the email linked to my account and would like to verify my identity using an email that is active and familiar to me. Despite previous attempts to contact Instagram, the provided email assistance did not pertain to the correct account issue. My Instagram handle is _gabbycisneros, and I am eager to verify my identity to regain access to my account, which has been connected to my Facebook for 7 years.

Hi there, I have two Instagram accounts: one is personal, and the other is a fan page. Recently, my fan page account, @bobobohnson, logged me out and displayed a message stating "Sorry, we couldn't log you in." This account doesn't have an email linked to it, only a phone number which is the same as my personal account. When attempting to reset the password by sending a link to my phone number, Instagram just redirects me to the login page without resolving the issue. I recently converted my personal account to a business account, but I'm facing an issue when attempting to link it to my Facebook page. An error message claims I am "logged in as someone who does not have permission as an admin." Despite knowing this individual, I have never used their Facebook account or given them any association with my page. The error is hindering my ability to promote Instagram posts effectively. Within the "linked accounts" section, it shows "share to 'my page'", but below it, the connection is listed as "'someone who has nothing to do with my account'". I seek guidance on disconnecting from this person to progress with my promotions seamlessly.

I noticed my Instagram account was hacked at approximately 5 p.m. on October 2nd. The hacker changed my password and email linked to the account, making it impossible for me to recover it. The username was altered to @anaradifrances, and the profile picture changed to that of an unfamiliar man. Despite the account being made public, my posts remain intact, and no new content has been added. I reached out to Instagram, provided necessary identity verification, but have not received a response as of yet. The situation is frustrating, as my account has been compromised for over 48 hours. Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have been diligently following the steps to recover my account. After sending the required photos and details as instructed, I have not received any response since the email I sent on Monday, October 1st. It is urgent that I regain access to my account due to a serious situation involving individuals with only Instagram information. I am unable to attach a photo here but can promptly resend it to support. The code provided in the initial recovery email was [redacted], my Instagram handle is Exquisitenia, and my full name is Nia Henry. The last access to my account was on Thursday, September 27th, [redacted], around 8 p.m. Following a dispute, someone changed my password, posted inappropriate content, and demanded more images to regain control. I signed up with the phone number [redacted], email [redacted], and username Exquisitenia. Any prompt assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated, given the time sensitivity regarding the individuals involved and the necessity to prevent further harm.

I have been blocked from liking photos for a second time in a week. As a full-time blogger, I engage quickly on the platform, which sometimes might not adhere to the guidelines regarding the number of comments I can like. It is frustrating to be penalized for liking comments on my own picture from my account. I do not purchase followers or likes like other accounts, and yet I face issues like this. This has been affecting my engagement and numbers, especially when I have upcoming campaigns. I need my account fixed promptly as being active is crucial for my success. My account has been hacked and disabled. I received a message from Instagram on 07/24/[redacted] assuring me that the issue was resolved. Despite this, I have been unable to sign into my account since that date. I am a social media influencer and rely on my account for work. I have been using Instagram for a month under the page @theonlyheadshop. Everything was fine until my Facebook content got de-listed (I know the platforms are connected). My website link has been blocked without justification (legally) and now I can't even comment on my own posts. My account is associated with a legally registered business. Instagram shouldn't de-list content or target the cannabis community. If this behavior continues, I will consider legal action as Instagram is selectively choosing which posts to display, which is illegal. I am willing to fight unethical companies like yours to ensure justice is served.

Last month, my Instagram account got hacked, and despite reporting it, Instagram has not taken any action. Subsequently, I created three new accounts, all of which have been removed. The last one was taken down due to alleged violations of Instagram's terms, which I did not commit. Despite multiple attempts to verify my identity, I am still locked out, while the hacker continues to use my profile. I am troubled that despite my reports, Instagram is allowing my data to be misused, violating my rights. I seek advice on how to regain control of my original account or create a new one. Instagram's customer service has been unsatisfactory, and I am considering seeking legal counsel. I used the email [redacted] and the username flyfeegee. The removed account was flyfeefee13 linked to [redacted] I am feeling let down and just want this situation resolved.

Hello, my name is Adem Demirci from Turkey. My Instagram page, @letafetgumus, linked to [redacted], has been closed by Instagram due to some rings with Zultanite stones that I sell in my store. Zultanite is a common stone sold across Turkey and globally. It was a company complaint from zultgems.com that resulted in the page being deleted. However, there are over 15,[redacted] Zultanite pictures under the hashtag zultanite, making this decision seem unjust. We have tried reaching out, but Instagram directed us to Facebook Turkey, who has not responded despite us (my sister and I) sending our IDs, store photos, and the license issued by our government allowing us to use the store name. I am eager to have the page reinstated promptly and would appreciate your assistance.

I reported an Instagram account @truthlays for breaching data, posting unauthorised photos of me and my family. Despite this, the account has continued to post 44 unauthorized posts in just over a week, including WhatsApp desktop messages and contacts belonging to others. The account features IG messages, private Facebook messages, WhatsApp profile pictures, and messages from various individuals, including myself and my client. I plan to contact the ICO on Monday regarding this breach. I represent the Violent Crime Help and Referral Service and we have both been victims of this Instagram user. I urge Instagram to take immediate action to remove this account due to its malicious activities and personal data breaches. I have saved this message in case I need to share it with the ICO. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Dear Insta Team, At the beginning of September, my account was hacked, where my name, password, and email address were changed. With the help of one of your colleagues, I managed to reverse this and regain control of my account. About a week ago, I was logged out of the app unexpectedly and couldn't log back in even though I had changed my password. After a few unsuccessful login attempts, Instagram deactivated my account. Initially, I could still see my account on my friend's phone, but now it's no longer visible at all. I am unable to log in through Facebook or create a new account as it says an account already exists, yet when I try to reset the password, it says the user is not found. I am unsure if my account has been deleted or just deactivated. Can it be reactivated? These are my personal photos, and I have all the original images and videos from throughout the years. Initially, my Instagram handle was berlynn gonzalez, a short form of bernadette lynn gonzalez. To prove ownership, I posted a photo of myself with my driver's ID card. Recently, someone changed the email associated with my account without my consent. I wanted to share an unsettling experience I had earlier this year. A blackmailer on Instagram with the username ‘a1_internationals’ sent me intimate photos of myself that I never shared online. They demanded more explicit photos of me, including ones with my partner. Threatening to publish all the images if I didn't comply, they had already followed all my Instagram connections. I reported this to the police while it was happening, provided a statement, and they have identified the person responsible. Though the blackmailer deleted the account and the photos were not distributed, it has strained my relationship.
