Get my couch delivered because the delivery person left within five minutes of arriving today without delivery my couch and ignoring my calls. I’ve been trying to reach ikea for nine hours now and the delivery company was no help. ... The delivery company Ikea used for my couch waited less than five minutes before leaving without delivering my couch. They called me at **:**pm today, March **, ****, and my first return the call at **:**pm. The driver wiht T Force Logistics did not answer the return call. I spoke to a supevisor at T Force who claims the driver called the supervisor, they called IKEA, got permission from Ikea to move on to another delivery at **:**pm. I placed half a dozen calls to the delivery driver between my first call at **:**pm and **:**pm that all went unanswered. The delivery company is refusing to deliver my couch now even though their driver messed up. He spent his time on the phone with the supervisor ignoring my calls as if I'm not here waiting. On top of that, my apartment is right above the gate and I have a clear view of the street. There have not been any delivery trucks here today. So where was the driver? The supervisor at T Force - Pat L. (wouldn't give a last name or escalate my call to his supevisor) refused to help or even acknowledge that a less than five minute window is reasonable. I want my couch delivered ASAP and at this point I would like the $** delivery waived too.
My dad has health issues and back and neck issues. He needs the fold out bed from the new couch that was to be delivered to sleep on so he’s not in pain. He couldn’t sleep on my old couch which I already gave away to make room for the new couch. Now he has no place to sleep tonight.
I need the couch delivered ASAP and I feel the delivery fee should be waived as a courtesy because the driver never stopped at my building (I have a clear view of the gate from my front window and was waiting for the delivery when the driver was supposedly at my residence. Also, because the driver ignored my calls ** over about half an hour and starting * minutes after the driver called me about my delivery) I think waiving the delivery fee is more than reasonable.
I’ve been an Ikea customer for more than ten years. In the last year alone I have spent thousands of dollars updating furniture throughout my entire home.
I spent over an hour on the phone with the delivery company directly who refused to even listen to my concerns. I’ve been on hold waiting for an Ikea customer service rep for nine hours already (still holding right now so going in ten hours) and I reached out onto the IKEA help desk through social media. Plus using this site to try to reach someone at IKEA.
