My mother made an online order of an item at IKEA and arranged for it to be picked up at the Brooklyn, NY location. **When I arrived at opening time on Tuesday, ****, I found out after waiting for over ** minutes at FIRST place in line that the order had not even begun to be processed. At the cash register, I was urged to just buy it myself, and was told that my mother's order would automatically be canceled and the payment refunded to her.**So, I bought the item in person and have proof on my bank*credit card statement of this purchase. In the rush of things, I do not recall receiving a paper receipt. **I just want to make sure that my bank documentation will serve as proof of purchase for a return if I go in person to the store. **The store is not answering any phone calls, so I cannot even verify this with them, and know that going to IKEA always takes an hour-plus, no matter what the issue. I want to know that I can receive a return of my money if I bring the money back to the store where it was purchased. Again, I do not have the original paper receipt (was not given one), but DO have proof on my bank statement.**I am prepared to escalate this further via my bank if I cannot get a straight answer before wasting y time and returning to IKEA in hopes of getting my money back.**P.S. The item was not used, and is in perfect condition and is in its original packaging.**Thank you,*Jia
