I am quite upset by the unsettling movie commercials appearing during family-oriented programs. Our family loves watching shows like Modern Family, Last Man Standing, and American Housewife together, but the eerie previews of R-rated films cause distress for my nine and ten-year-old. I urge Hulu to review the advertisements and trailers aired during programs meant for families. My children have been frightened by these previews, often depicting violent or scary content. Though we cannot shield our children from everything, it would be reassuring to enjoy a brief TV program without needing to shield their eyes during commercials. I kindly ask for a thorough examination of the trailers broadcasted during show breaks and for consideration of more family-friendly content.

In January [redacted], I discovered I had been charged more than $11.99 for the commercial-free Hulu service since June [redacted]. After contacting Hulu customer service, a representative confirmed that premium channels had been added to my account without my authorization. Despite their inability to provide a refund, they advised me to contact my bank for assistance. Following their suggestion, my bank closed my account and issued a new card. However, a recent payment had already been processed before the card closure. I am concerned that someone may have been scamming Hulu customers and would like assurance that this issue will be resolved to prevent unauthorized charges in the future. As a Sprint customer eligible for free Hulu, I wish to resume enjoying this benefit. I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter.

I signed up for a Hulu free trial but decided to cancel before the trial ended. Despite canceling, Hulu still charged me, causing issues with my water bill payment. I ended up without water for the whole weekend because of this. Even after confirming my cancellation, Hulu said I could continue using the service for the month. I want my $11.99 refunded as I canceled on time and have no intention of using Hulu again.

I am currently a Spotify Premium subscriber. Recently, Spotify and Hulu started offering a combined streaming service for the cost of Spotify's Premium Plan. I decided to give Hulu a try due to this offer. However, being based in Japan, I encountered some issues: 1. I managed to link my Spotify account with Hulu on my computer. 2. I installed the Hulu app on my Japanese iPhone. 3. Although I can log in to Hulu on my computer, I'm unable to watch any content. 4. On my phone, I can watch episodes and movies on the Hulu app, but I'm unable to log in as it states my email address is invalid. After seeking clarification from Hulubot, I learned that Hulu is only available for streaming in the U.S. and U.S. Military bases. Despite this, the Hulu app on my phone displays a message in English promoting its services for a monthly fee in Japanese yen, implying availability in Japan. I make payments for my Spotify account using a U.S. debit card, and I have no trouble streaming Spotify Premium in Japan. I am unsure if my American Spotify account is incompatible with the Hulu app downloaded from the Japanese App store or network. In summary, I seek assistance on whether I can access Hulu in Japan and if my U.S. debit card linked to Spotify is causing compatibility issues with the Japan-based Hulu app or network. Apologies for any confusion, navigating international living can be challenging.

My daughter unknowingly changed the Hulu account to her name and email without my knowledge. Previously, when she lived with me, this arrangement was fine, but she now resides in Spain, while I am in California. I am the one who pays the bill each month. Recently, I attempted to log in to Hulu on my new TV but found that the password no longer worked. I contacted Hulu customer service about two months ago, and they advised me that since my daughter's email was associated with the account, she would need to reset the password. However, she has not done so, leaving me unable to access Hulu despite being the one who covers the costs. I am requesting that the account be transferred to my name, as I handle the payments, and that a new password be sent to my email at [redacted] I am willing to provide credit card information if necessary, and you can verify that I receive the bill each month. Please address this issue promptly. If needed, you can reach me at [redacted].

I have been a loyal subscriber to Hulu for several months, using it regularly and being charged monthly. However, about three months ago, I encountered an issue when trying to log in via Roku. After selecting to log in through the web, I was unable to access my account despite Hulu recognizing me on their website. When attempting to log in using my email and password, I received an error stating one of them was incorrect, and the "Forgot Password" option did not recognize my email address. This ongoing problem has prevented me from accessing Hulu for the past three months. I would appreciate guidance on resolving this issue and would like to request a credit for the months I have been unable to use the service. Thank you for your assistance. - D.R.

I rely on Hulu through Roku for my TV entertainment. Recently, there has been a change in the app that is causing frustration. The layout now prioritizes Hulu Picks over my usual shows, making it difficult to find the latest episodes quickly. This new design feels like a significant step backward, requiring unnecessary effort to locate specific content. I am disappointed with this alteration. It seems like a needless complication that disrupts my viewing experience. The previous setup was user-friendly and convenient, displaying my shows prominently without extra steps. I urge Hulu to reconsider this update and restore easy access to individual shows upon opening the app. A compromise could involve featuring Hulu Picks in a separate section to cater to different user interests. In the meantime, I hope Hulu addresses this feedback and works towards improving customer satisfaction. Jesse L Blackwood from Fountain Hill, PA

I have noticed that one particular live channel, MSNBC, frequently pixelates and stops to catch up during peak hours, between 5 - 7 pm PDT. This occurs about 3 - 4 times per hour, which is quite frustrating. I recently upgraded to a new ASUS router operating at 5 gHz, with a good bandwidth of [redacted] Mbps. Despite this, the issue persists, even after clearing the Roku memory cache. As an additional attempt to resolve the problem, I recently inserted and formatted a micro SD card in the Roku Ultra, which may have helped reduce the pixelation and streaming dropouts. I will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update on any further improvements or fixes.

I recently watched an episode of a series that unexpectedly depicted scenes of rape and its aftermath. The description led me to believe it would focus on a different topic, catching me off guard. I believe streaming platforms like Hulu should provide warnings when shows contain content that may be triggering for survivors of abuse or assault. As a survivor myself, I was taken by surprise and faced distressing emotions due to my past trauma. It's important for individuals dealing with such issues, past or present, to have a heads-up about potentially triggering content, as it can easily evoke symptoms of PTSD. Streaming services should consider adding indicators to notify viewers of sensitive themes in episodes or series to help prevent such situations.

I noticed several emails offering me a free trial to come back to Hulu because I hadn't used it in a long time. Excited to watch a show, I opened the Hulu app to start the trial, using my Touch ID linked to my iTunes/App Store account. Surprisingly, I was immediately charged, assuming the trial would be free. Unfortunately, I can't access the email linked to my original Hulu account. After following the email link as instructed, I successfully started a free trial using the promoted email address. I wish to cancel the subscription on the inaccessible email ([redacted]) and obtain a refund for the charge. I'd like to keep the trial on my current email ([redacted]) and decide whether to continue after the trial ends. Thank you for your help. Regards, Jaime

I received an email a week ago inviting me to return as a previous customer with a free one-month offer. Despite numerous attempts yesterday and today, I couldn't sign up successfully. I selected the $11.99 per month plan but encountered a billing issue where it kept showing $11.99 due today instead of $0. Even after trying a lower-priced plan, the problem persisted. When I attempted to complete the billing process to see if it might still waive the fee, my card payment failed without an explanation. My sister then tried to start a free trial using her own information, but we struggled to sign out from my previous attempts on the same device. After managing to sign in separately, she was informed that she was not eligible for the promotion, and it reverted to requesting $11.99 upfront. I can confirm that the card is working as I had just used it on Netflix. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I need assistance with my Hulu subscription. It expired on January 19, [redacted], but I was unexpectedly charged yesterday at 11:45pm. This has caused my account to go negative as I only had $11.64 in it at the time, and Hulu charged me $12.81. I have proof of my expired subscription from two months ago, in case it's needed. I initially contacted Apple iTunes support thinking they were the ones who charged me, but they couldn't find any records. My Apple support confirmed my subscription was canceled in January. I would like this issue resolved promptly. Here are the transaction details: -$1.17 (overdrawn) after $12.81 purchase at HLU*HULU on 03/30 11:45PM CT with my PayPal Prepaid card ending in [redacted]. Order Number: [redacted]32. Thank you.

Hello, I have a concern regarding your password policy. I have noticed that I am required to input a password for certain "political" shows but not for others that do not fall under this category. Given the sensitive nature of politics, I believe this is an oversight. Please address this promptly so that viewers like myself do not feel monitored or restricted when accessing specific content. I trust that you will resolve this issue swiftly as I plan to share this feedback with others. I look forward to receiving assurance that I will not encounter password prompts for politically-themed programs in the future. Thank you.

I noticed that TLC was no longer on the list of networks. When I searched for "Counting On," I found only the first three episodes available. I was excited to see 20th Century Fox listed, only to be disappointed when it seemed to be falsely advertised, with a trailer promoting it on Hulu. This inconsistency is frustrating. ABC also has missing listings. Despite being advised to search for specific shows, I prefer an overview of all available content on the network. Hulu's quality control appears lacking, with many channels having listings but no actual content available upon closer inspection. For instance, "Dr. Pimple Popper" only has one clip, which is disappointing. It seems misleading to promote shows without providing full episodes. I miss watching "Roseanne" on Hulu and find its removal regrettable. The new version is not as enjoyable for me.

I am experiencing extreme frustration as I am unable to stream Hulu at home, and this issue has persisted for about three weeks now. I successfully had it fixed once, but it only worked for a few days before the problem resurfaced. After being away for a brief period, the service has not been working for approximately a week and a half. Upon contacting customer service, they immediately shifted blame to my service provider and requested permission to access all my devices to remove data, which I declined. I sought assistance in obtaining my Internet number, possibly the URL addresses, and was surprised to find multiple listed on my account when I have only one Wi-Fi connection at home. I was informed that streaming Hulu requires unlimited data, a criterion I did not encounter previously, and I am unsure if my satellite Internet plan includes this feature. I am disappointed as I truly enjoyed Hulu's content and was anticipating a long-lasting relationship with the service despite the commercials. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely at this point. Thank you for allowing me to share my frustrations; I am feeling disheartened and let down. Wishing you a pleasant evening. Thank you.

I signed up for Hulu a while back, but I decided to let my account expire as it didn't meet my expectations and I prefer Netflix. Surprisingly, while trying to re-subscribe to Netflix yesterday, Hulu somehow reactivated my account without my consent, charging $20.98 to my debit card that I've had for years. Being on disability, I can't afford unauthorized charges that I didn't agree to. The charge is pending from 04/02/[redacted]. Please cancel and refund this charge promptly. I don't want to face the inconvenience of changing my card and disrupting my automatic bill payments. Kindly correct this error on your end. Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter. Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted] Your prompt resolution and refund are greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sheryl H. For further inquiries, feel free to call me at [redacted]. This issue needs immediate attention due to the mistake on the website.

I am reaching out regarding my account. In relation to my recent complaint, we have agreed to accept Hulu's offer of a six-month reimbursement for incorrectly charging our bank account while we were supposed to receive Hulu services for free through Sprint's cell phone service offer. As part of this agreement, we have also agreed to terminate our services with Hulu. It is distressing that despite Sprint still offering this deal, we were charged and are now required to forego our ongoing free Hulu services to receive only a partial reimbursement. It feels like we are being taken advantage of twice. Thank you, Hulu and Sprint! I intend to caution others about our experience and advise them to steer clear of both companies. This situation feels deceptive. Additionally, it is concerning that your "Senior Account" representatives are trained to deny reimbursement for account payments made in error over a period of more than six months. Your company's practices seem complicit in fraudulent activities, taking funds from individuals who were mistakenly charged for services that were supposed to be complimentary.

I recently deleted two of my old email addresses without checking if they were linked to any subscriptions I had. I realized too late that my old email address, [redacted], was connected to my Hulu account. I've now created two new email addresses, one for Personal/Social Media and one for all Subscriptions, which is [redacted] I've been a loyal Hulu customer for years, but I've forgotten my password and cannot reset it since my old email is no longer available. I hope someone can assist me with this issue. Thank you!

Subject: Concern About Program Content on Hulu Dear Hulu Programmers, I have been quite pleased with the service you offer, enjoying the variety of shows and movies available. However, my opinion recently changed due to the presence of certain programming, specifically the show "I'm Just Messing With You." While I cannot attach a screenshot, I must express my disappointment with this programming choice. Up until now, I have appreciated the family-friendly content on Hulu. This show, with its title alone, does not align with a family-friendly atmosphere. Despite attempting to adjust my settings, I could not find a way to remove it from the main menu. I kindly request that you update your programming algorithms to better cater to viewers seeking a family-friendly platform. Thank you for considering this feedback. Sincerely, A. I already have an account, but I used my work email, which I can't access now, and I forgot my password. My work computer is at home, but my permanent camping spot in Peebles is an hour away from there, where my family and I spend most weekends. We have a projector and speakers set up and wanted to watch Hulu there. Since I couldn't access my old account, I decided to create a new one and pay for it to watch tonight. I paid almost $50, but it didn't work because it couldn't recognize my location as my home because of the different zip code. I'd like a refund as I haven't used the new account to stream anything, and I still want to keep using my old Hulu account at home.
