Due to restrictions, I am unable to access it from my iPad since I haven't used it within the past 30 days on my home network. As I will be away from home for three weeks, this limitation is frustrating. If this policy doesn't change soon, I may have to cancel my account and explore other options for streaming. It feels like poor customer service and I would appreciate more information on any potential updates regarding this issue before I make a decision about my continued subscription.

Hello, I'm Shiann, and I'm trying to contact someone (a human) to assist me with my concerns. I was in communication with Victoria T when I got disconnected due to a phone call, and I couldn't find my way back to our chat. Victoria was helping me via text about an issue where I was being charged $36.99 a month for HBO and Starz instead of my usual $11.99 fee, which should have been the only charge. This sudden increase led to an overdraft in my bank, resulting in a $35 overdraft fee on top of that. I want HBO and Starz removed from my account since I don't need them as I already have them on my cable service at home. I find this situation perplexing, and I'm unsure for how many months I've been billed incorrectly. I am contemplating switching to Netflix if this matter is not addressed promptly. I have been a loyal Hulu customer for quite some time, and I'd prefer not to switch services over this issue. However, I can't have unexpected charges add up like this, especially with two children, one in diapers and facing medical expenses due to cancer. This is an added stress I don't need. I am currently a Spotify user and recently received an email regarding the Spotify and Hulu bundle offer. Upon clicking the activation link, I was directed to a page prompting me to either sign up or log in to Hulu. Despite not having any recollection of creating a Hulu account previously, when attempting to sign up, I was informed that an account linked to my email already exists. I then tried logging in using a password I would typically use, but encountered an error stating invalid login credentials. To address this, I opted to reset my password by clicking on the "forgot password" link and requesting a reset email, which unfortunately I have not received after several days (even after checking my spam folder). I am eager to resolve this issue promptly to take advantage of the Spotify/Hulu promotion, but I am currently unable to do so due to difficulties accessing my Hulu account.

4/16/[redacted]: I recently joined Hulu and had trouble understanding the "interests" setting during setup. Consequently, Hulu started recording numerous programs I did not want. Despite trying to delete these recordings manually and resetting my Fire TV, the unwanted content on Hulu persisted. 4/17/[redacted] Update: I managed to clean up most of the unwanted recordings by alternating between my TV and PC for manual clean-up efforts. While I hope to have it set up to only record new episodes of my selected shows, only time will tell. I found the recording system to be confusing, even if things go smoothly moving forward.

I recently began a free trial of live Hulu, hoping to find a familiar channel guide setup like Sling TV or regular cable where I can browse and choose programs to watch and record. However, I was surprised to find that Hulu prompts me to select three or more show categories for it to record for me. I was expecting a more traditional TV guide displaying all channels and their schedules for each day. Can someone clarify if there is a guide like this on Hulu live and how I can access it without going through the category selection process? I have been trying to cancel my Hulu service since last week when the payment was declined by my PayPal account. Due to financial struggles, my family and I are cutting back on extras like Hulu. I'm unable to log in, and when I request a new password, I never receive the reset email. Recently, $20.98 was withdrawn from my account, causing me to be stranded far from my child for over 2 hours. I was recently billed for a subscription on a non-existent account. I had a free account with Sprint which got canceled due to inactivity. Despite trying to sign up for the 30-day free trial and pay later, I faced multiple issues setting up my account. I changed passwords several times but still couldn't log in. After repeatedly being denied access despite entering correct information, I gave up trying to set it up. To my dismay, I was charged today for an account I can't even access. I'd appreciate a refund since I've been unable to watch anything due to the login issues. It's frustrating not being able to enjoy Hulu's content when I can't even create an account to access it.

Although I would consider upgrading to an ad-free plan, being part of a joint student/Spotify account makes it financially challenging. The high frequency of ads, especially right after watching an ad and during the transition to the next episode, undermines the viewing experience on Hulu. Simplifying the ad structure could enhance user satisfaction and deter resorting to alternative means of accessing content. I have been experiencing an issue with Hulu when streaming shows in full screen mode. Each time the auto play transitions from one show to the next, right before the countdown finishes, it exits out of full screen mode. This happens consistently with every episode of the shows I'm watching, such as Daria and The Beverly Hillbillies. I rely on Hulu for my favorite TV content, and I've tried various troubleshooting steps like clearing the cache on my laptop, freeing up disk space, checking for updates on Chrome and Flash Player, and reviewing settings. I even attempted to use the app on my laptop, which resulted in an error code dj1. Even after all these efforts, the issue persists, and I'm unsure of what else to try.

I mistakenly used two separate accounts for Spotify and Hulu. Only after noticing a charge on my Hulu account due to different email addresses, did I realize the mix-up. The procedure was confusing as I attempted to link my Hulu account through Spotify's site, but it stated I was ineligible despite being subscribed to the student bundle. When trying to log into Hulu, I used an incorrect email. I am seeking a refund for the erroneous charge since I am already a student bundle subscriber.

During a call with Hulu last Saturday, which happened to be Easter Saturday, I informed the company that I do not authorize any charges on my card until after the fraud trial against Hulu. Now, my bank account is negative due to what I perceive as Hulu taking money without my consent. On Tuesday, I will be filing a case with the police and the bank fraud department. I plan to visit the police station to potentially have individuals involved in this bank theft held accountable. Sadly, I've heard that Hulu's headquarters currently have no phone service. I am also sending a copy of my complaint to the NC Attorney General's Office to involve them in the potential shutdown of Hulu in North Carolina and any criminal charges the police deem necessary. I expect my stolen funds to be returned by 9 a.m.

I am receiving an intermittent error from CBS stating that the video is unavailable due to streaming rights restrictions. I reached out via email and was advised to lower my ping by shutting down my router for 5 minutes. Despite following these steps, the issue persists. Previously, I was informed that my internet speed was too slow, so I upgraded from 50 mbps to [redacted] mbps, resulting in a higher internet bill with no resolution. All other channels work well, leading me to believe the issue lies with CBS. If this problem cannot be resolved, please inform me so I can explore alternative services. The problem started after a price increase, which complicates matters further.

Last week, I tried to pause or cancel my Hulu account before any charges were made. Despite not being able to watch anything, I still got charged on May 9th when I checked my bank statement. I started the Hulu free trial on May 6th but canceled a few days later to avoid charges after the trial. Despite looking forward to using Hulu until the next billing cycle post-cancellation, I lost access immediately. To resolve this, I decided to retry the free trial hopeful it would resume where I left off. To my dismay, I was billed for a month upon retrying. Upon attempting to cancel again, a message offered 2 weeks free, leading me to click and redeem it. However, it was deceptive as I was instead switched to the $5.99 plan with an additional 2 weeks, adding to the confusion and frustration.

I recently discovered that my account has been compromised. There's a new user, Juliana, in the "who's watching" section. The email and password have been changed to [redacted] There were unauthorized charges of 50¢ on the 11th and $28.58 on the 12th, which is double my usual bill of $12.70. Hello, I recently experienced an issue with my Hulu subscription. My Live TV trial was scheduled to end on May 8, [redacted], but I was unexpectedly charged $31.21 on May 7, [redacted], possibly due to a time zone discrepancy. The agent assisted me in refunding this charge. Regrettably, when they canceled my Live TV subscription, my entire Hulu subscription was terminated. On May 6, [redacted], I had been charged $11.60 for my Hulu subscription, and after the Live TV cancellation, I lost access to all Hulu services.
