We wish to upgrade the RAMs for four numbers of HP make desktop PCs ( Model :- *** MT) from existing * GB RAM to * GB RAM.*The serial numbers of the CPUs are as follows:- INA***P**K , INA***P**M , INA***P**L , INA***P**H .*These PCs are under warranty.*For upgradation of RAM, we have the following two options:*i.*adding one more new *GB RAM, to be used alongwith the existing *GB RAM *ii.*going for a single piece of new * GB RAM and taking out the existing *GB RAM.*We request you to kindly advice:-*i.*the better option out of the two options, stated above,*and*ii.*the part number * or * make of RAM to be used.*After procurement, these RAMS will be replaced by the warranty support team.**You may kindly advice, whether we have to buy these RAMs only from M*s HP’s authorized dealer at Visakhapatnam or we can buy these RAMs from other vendors also( where it is more cost effective), and get these RAMs fixed by M*s HP’s warranty support team, so as to retain the warranty.
