I am writing this message due to an error made by an H&R Block agent while filing my taxes. I filed my Taxes with H&R Block for the first time in **** for ****. I specifically chose to us H&R Block because I had heard good things, and having moved states recently, I wanted to get help from a professional. I did not want to make any mistakes, and was willing to pay a substantial amount of money to make sure it was done right.*With that in mind, I went to H&R Block.*Having met with one of the of the "experts" who assisted me in Filling my **** Taxes. A couple of week after filling, I got a letter from Oregon state saying something was done incorrectly, and had to go back to H&R Block. After another person took a look and fixed the problem, I thought it would all be over. Fast forward a year and a half later, I received a letter from the IRS saying I owed some taxes, from ****, which came as a surprise to me. I spent $**** to get my taxes done, by a professional to avoid all this, not only did it cost money, it cost my time. I have recently had to go back to H&R Block to resolve this, and am currently waiting for a response from the IRS on an amendment. *I think its only fair to get a full refund of the money paid to get the taxes done in the first place, or some sort of compensation, because I am still trying to fix a mistake made by H&R Block.**I wouldn't have felt too bad if I made those mistakes myself, but someone someone with experience to get it right, and as a result I probably will not filling with H&R Block again.
GetHuman-teemyt did not yet indicate what H&R Block should do to make this right.
