On December 13, I attempted to buy the H&R Block [redacted] Premium Federal and State software for MAC. Despite selecting the MAC version, a site error led to the default PC version being applied. After reordering with my AMEX card successfully, I realized the mistake upon downloading the PC version. Numerous attempts to reach customer service by phone have failed. I have reordered the MAC version and now have two orders for the same product, one being unwanted. Please refund the $49.95 from the initial order. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am currently navigating the process of filing my taxes. As a Wisconsin resident and an international student in the UK with no income, I am facing some confusion. None of the options on the Wisconsin state tax form seem to be relevant to my situation. I do not reside in Wisconsin, did not live there all of last year, and do not earn income in Wisconsin. However, my permanent address remains in Wisconsin, and I am residing in the UK solely on a student visa. I am uncertain if I am required to file Wisconsin taxes and, if so, what steps I should take to fulfill this obligation.

I run an online business and I have a query regarding outsourcing and taxes. I am based in the US and recently acquired a small website from an individual in Spain. Moving forward, I will be compensating him $70 monthly for site maintenance. Currently, the site generates $[redacted] monthly from Google Adsense ads. So, when Google issues a [redacted] for my Adsense earnings, they will state the site's revenue as $[redacted] monthly. Nevertheless, my actual profit after paying the outsourcer is $80 monthly. Could someone advise on my tax responsibilities and how to document the payment made to the overseas worker to avoid being taxed for the full $[redacted] monthly?

I am struggling with penalties for not having health insurance all year, as I still cannot afford it. H&R Block is randomly giving away $[redacted] to customers, which could easily be used to help people in similar situations this tax season. How about using that generosity to assist those who will owe money instead of receiving a refund? It would make a real difference to those of us who are facing substantial payments through no fault of our own. If you want to give back, consider helping out those in need like us.

I have been a client of H&R Block for 9 years, always using my Emerald Card with the same routing and account number. A few years ago, I ordered a new card and replaced it but kept the same account details. This tax season in [redacted], while filing on my computer, I chose a new card to receive my federal and state deposits. When reviewing my papers, I noticed that the deposit information for my federal and state returns is different from the account I've had for 9 years. I activated my new card, and it seems to be linked to my old account. My concern is, will my federal deposit go to the account I have had all these years?

Is the fee from the USDA Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program tax deductible for Oregon residents? I believe it may be, as I've included the payment in our tax return this year. Using H&R Block's deluxe software, it indicated a low audit risk after I input the deduction. Despite not claiming it in the past two years, I recently learned more about the deduction and now feel more confident in claiming it. The mortgage company confirmed that this fee is a monthly obligation that will persist for the loan's duration unless we refinance or prepay.

During my marriage, my wife and I bought a house and received a $5,[redacted] first-time home buyer fund, repayable through taxes. Following divorce, I transferred ownership to my ex-wife. She has been repaying the loan through her taxes, but now they are pursuing me for it. My ex-wife assumes full responsibility and I am seeking information on any exemption forms that would release me from this obligation.

I initially used TurboTax to file my taxes but decided to also try H&R Block before submitting. I realized H&R Block offered me a higher refund of $1,[redacted]. Unfortunately, I accidentally submitted my taxes through TurboTax without being able to cancel. I called to decline the payment and submitted my taxes through H&R Block hoping they would honor the higher amount. I received a payment from TurboTax but it was not the correct refund. How can I fix this issue? I prefer using H&R Block going forward for their excellent customer service and better tax returns.

On my second state tax return for Indiana, the personal information section requests details about the state and counties where I lived and worked on January 1st, [redacted]. Since I resided and worked in Ohio on that date, I listed the Ohio county and state. Subsequently, when providing information for tax credits, it asks for income earned in the "Indiana counties" where I resided and worked. The website displays Ohio counties, not Indiana counties. As I only began earning income in Indiana counties from October [redacted] onwards, I'm unsure how to proceed. Any advice on what I should report in this scenario would be appreciated.

I am unsure about which sections to fill out for foreign income since the instructions are unclear. I have attempted to contact the expat service and left a message a week ago but have not received a response yet.
I earn two different foreign incomes. One is from the Netherlands where I work as a regular employee. The second income comes from working for a short period as an independent contractor in Dubai. Regarding the foreign income sections, there is form [redacted] and another section called foreign compensation not shown on W2, which appears to mirror the questions in form [redacted]. I am uncertain if both sections need to be completed or just the first one, as it seems to impact the refund amount.

I recently relocated from New Jersey to Pennsylvania, and my grandmother, with whom I lived in New Jersey, has yet to receive my W2 form. I reached out to the H&R Block office in Jersey City where I used to work, and they directed me to contact technical support. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue. I am seeking assistance to access my W2 form so I can print it since I do not recall my login information. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In [redacted], I worked in both Pennsylvania and New York. I worked in Pennsylvania from January-February, New York from March-December, and then went back to Pennsylvania on December 7, [redacted]. The work I did in New York was construction-related, and I anticipated it to be a temporary project of less than a year. While working in New York, I rented an apartment there but kept my Pennsylvania driver's license. Do I need to file taxes in both states considering this situation?

I recently received a bill from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for an alleged tax award of over $[redacted] dating back to [redacted]. They claim H&R Block made an error. They are requesting $[redacted].42 from me. I had my taxes prepared by H&R Block in [redacted], and everything was in order. When I questioned the representative about the nature of the award, they couldn't provide an explanation. As a widow on a fixed income, receiving this bill after five years is concerning. I'm starting to question the legitimacy of this situation and would appreciate some guidance on how to proceed.

I opted for the tax expert review, and now my completed forms are locked. I didn't have the forms in PDF format, as they requested, but I was prepared to file. I'm caught in a loop with the advisor, and I just want to access my taxes and file them. When I tried to chat and explain the problem, the agent mentioned she couldn't assist but would escalate it to the next level. Zulieka T. printed out the transcript. I need to regain access to my taxes. I have all the information ready to file, but I'm stuck due to the advisor review process.

I used the Free File program for my Federal taxes and was asked to pay $30 for my State taxes. Despite being told I could file them for free, I encountered this issue and couldn't proceed. A colleague shared a link for free State tax filing, but I am unable to access my account as the system does not recognize my credentials.
After completing my Federal tax filing, I received an email from H&R Block confirming my submission. I am now trying to e-file my State taxes as per the promise of free filing, but your system does not show any record of my return.

I have been creating and selling jewelry, being aware that anything over $[redacted] is taxable. As I am self-employed, selling on eBay, I am uncertain how to handle filing taxes without receiving a W2 or [redacted] form. I would appreciate advice on how to file taxes independently in eCommerce. Residing in NH, I am curious if this impacts the process. In a hypothetical scenario, making $[redacted] weekly consistently throughout the year, I am unsure how much I should set aside for taxes. How do I proceed with payments if all earnings go directly to me? I am considering opening a separate account for the owed taxes. Thank you.

I visited the H&R Block office in Buffalo, WY. They want to deduct over $[redacted] from my refund, which I won't get for a few more months. My refund is delayed because the preparer entered the wrong account and routing numbers, even though they are not even similar to mine. Now, I have to receive a paper check due to their mistake, and they are still insisting on the additional charge. I am not willing to pay this fee.

I have been a loyal customer of H&R Block for many years. Unfortunately, this tax season, my Emerald Card was compromised, resulting in unauthorized charges. I contacted their fraud department for assistance. Initially, they were helpful in canceling my card, issuing a new one, and promised to refund the unauthorized transactions. However, during the process, the call got disconnected. Subsequent calls led to being transferred to the wrong department and eventually being unable to reach anyone as they were closed. When I finally got through, I was assured that my issue would be escalated and that I would receive a call within three business days. It's now been five days, and I have yet to hear back from them.

I have encountered issues this year that I have never experienced before. Following the tax season, I faced delays with my state taxes. After multiple visits to the Pulaski, VA office and numerous attempts to resolve the matter, they admitted to a mathematical error made by H&R Block resulting in a lower refund of $[redacted] instead of the expected $1,[redacted]. This error caused a lot of inconvenience as I made several trips to the Wytheville, VA office to resolve the issue. Despite assurances from a district manager to personally handle the situation, I was stood up for an appointment, causing further frustration. The mistake was finally traced back to a tax filer's error. I feel disregarded and unimportant in this situation and hope for a resolution. I am anxious as my finances have been strained due to unexpected expenses after a home fire. I seek transparency and clarity on the progress of my case and request a prompt resolution. Thank you for looking into this matter with urgency.

I submitted the [redacted] financial details for tax preparation for the Red Lily Pond Project Assoc. at your Centerville, MA office in the Bell Tower Mall at [redacted] Falmouth Road on March 12, [redacted]. Mary D. has been handling our non-profit organization's taxes for the past 3 to 4 years. Recently, I was informed by H & R Block about our tax preparation progress, even though we don't have any employees. Despite this, we haven't received the completed forms yet, which are due by May 15, [redacted]. I have already discussed this matter with Nicolle and Sean, and I am anticipating a call back on Monday, May 14th. My request is to have the forms ready for pickup either before or on the deadline, as we plan to mail them in on the 15th. Thank you.
