I was trying to use a hard copy of the confirmation email because no matter how much I tried I could not get the voucher to download to my phone before I traveled by air to the conference city. The transport company did not accept the evidence of purchase which I provided. ... (*) I bought a coupon on August * (cost $**.**) for * one-way trips from O' Hare airport by GO Airport Express because I had to attend a national teachers' conference in Chicago from August * -*. *(*) I received a confirmation email but no matter how I tried I could not get the voucher to download to my phone. *(*) I traveled with a hard copy of the email hoping that that would be enough evidence but the company would not accept that evidence. *(*) I paid my own fare both ways and returned from Chicago on August * without using the voucher, No. ****-******-******, which I was unable to either download or use. *It's only today that I have the time to follow up on this matter*(*) I am requesting refund for the cost of the coupon. *Thank you for your kind consideration.*Sincerely, *Miriam Legall
I do not consider it frustrating, but they should realize that at some time downloading a voucher on a phone may not be possible for every customer. So my issue needs to be given favorable consideration.
I am just seeking a refund of the money spent.
I am new to the groupon service so I was not sure what to expect. Things may work out right for nearly everyone but for some others problems can arise through no fault of theirs.
