I called Carol Lewis Day Spa (Birmingham, MI)to make an appt. for the facial described & the clerk suggested that I could upgrade to a more thorough facial for $** extra. I agreed. When I started getting the facial the esthetician started suggesting treatments & I again agreed. She said that the regular facial wasn't what my skin needed. She also pushed products rather a lot. When I went to pay it was quite expensive, I had been told the fees, but it seemed even higher. This is the part where Groupon comes in, the salon wouldn't subtract the $** for the Groupon fee I'd already paid. I was told the "Spring Refresher" facial Groupon would still be good for another time, but would be separate & not deducted from my visit today. I'd like to have that money returned, or used for a different Groupon since that facial is not the kind they recommend for me. Also, rather oddly, when I paid by credit card (I don't carry over $*** in my wallet) there was a $** surcharge. Groupon code ******* Spring refresher facial paid $**.**
