Being Pressured to Buy and Merchant Won't accept Coupon

I was trying to find out which class was best suited for a beginner. I visited the studio twice. It is not a studio but just a room with reformers and there is no desk or anyone to talk to at the site. The room is not even large enough to come in when the class is in session. Both times the instructor came to the door and told me call Beth at a number. ... I bought a coupon for Mar Vista Pilates connection and they are saying because I am a beginner I can not take a group class. However it never said it anywhere and they are really trying to up-sell me to take private classes. I asked them to tell you that they will not allow me to take the classes and she didn't instead she was trying to apply the funds to a private lesson

This is wrong and is a form of discrimination. If it did not say in the coupon that beginners could not take reformer lessons then it seem inappropriate. They kept trying to sell me private lessons.

They could make this right by giving me three private lessons since they claim that it would be dangerous for me to start on the reformer. It seems to be their lack of clarity about what was necessary to use the coupon.

I m involved in our neighborhood activities in Mar Vista and this is unlike our small business owners who we try and support.

I have visited their place of business twice, called the owner and then engaged in a number of emails with her where she continually suggested private lessons. Then the date of the coupon expired but this went on with her for about two weeks before that expiration
