Hello Groupon Staff,*I recently paid for a groupon special for a San Diego Hotel stay. The Hotel was the PB Surf Beachside Inn. The dates were ******* to ******* Friday to Monday a three night stay. The hotel has alot of false advertising for the groupon ad to begin, no continental breakfast, which I believe was included. The room had a large stain in front of the TV and bed area, we think it may have been blood. It was not clean and dirty around the complex. No parking for its guests, we had to park far away from the hotel. On ******* we proceeded to stay the night. The room to the side of us and the room up above had traffic(people) in and out all night. The people above had music so loud and so many people in and out we could not sleep. At about *AM I got dressed to speak with management and have something done so we could sleep, no one was in the office it was locked and shut down. No security on site. Myself and another guest from another hotel tried to knock and ask them to stop the music and partying. They didn’t care and it seemed to be even louder as I laid in bed to go to sleep. This continued until about *:**AM. In the morning we packed up and went down stairs to submit our complaints. The office clerk said they had many complaints that night. I spoke to a man in the morning who said he was on his second night and from Boston. He said he found it online as well. The clerk told me she could not refund our money for the following two nights, and I had to contact Groupon directly. I had her print out our bill for the one night stay. I was charged ***.** for the **** Room on ******* we checked out before **AM on *******. My total charge on Groupon for a three night stay, was ***.**. I was left with no hotel for two nights, hungry, and a very upset Fianc* from Texas who had no sleep as well. Finding a hotel took most of our day, and ruined our holiday together. I believe it was just not giving up, emailing Groupon everyday, and for some reasons every time I received your email asking if it had been resolved, and I responded with not yet! They emailed very shortly after I responded to your email. You have great influence on getting these problems rectified. I collected a lot of documentation, I requested a check out receipt, which they almost refused to give to me. I could see that the first tactic they used was to put you off. Give our staff **-** hrs to research this claim. I think they did that to me * or * times. And most people give up! I believe in fighting for justice, when something isn’t presented correctly. I really appreciate you, and I do thank Groupon for investigating my complaints, and reimbursing my two days at the bad hotel. Thank you, Janine M.
