Close my account and have green Dot forward the remaining balance of the account. ... I ordered a Green Dot card online with no credit check, no I.d., just my personal information. I was allowed to use the card with no problems for about a year or so, until October of last year Green Dot asked me for proof of identity. They wanted me to scan my driver's license and send it to them, otherwise, until I've sent them this scan, I was notified that I wouldn't have access to my account, nor would I have use of the card. Since, October of last year Green Dot has still charged my account with a maintenance and service fee, even though it's been * months since I've had access to my money and their services. I've asked via of a letter and by notifying customer service that I no longer wanted their services and for them to forward the balance of the account to the listed address on file and I've not yet received a response from anyone regarding this matter.*I'd really like to close the account, receive the remaining balance and be reimbursed for the funds that they've taken from my account since October of last year for services that I could not access.
I don't have a license
I'm no longer interested in maintaining an account with Green Dot, I simply would like to close the account and I would like to have Green Dot forward the balance to the listed address.
I've been a loyal customer and I've used their services for over a year without an issue.
I've contacted customer service and I've written Green Dot about this matter.
