I was trying to report a fraudulent charge posted on my account. I had them block the account to prevent any other transactions posting and had the original card cancelled and a new one issued. I called back in once the transaction went from pending to posted as i was told, so i could report it and was unable to talk to a live person. ... I have a green dot card through walmart. It has two of my incomes directly deposited to it, the card was skimmed and duplicated. Yesterday there was a fraudulent charge posted on it. I did all the leg work, found video surveilance of the thief and filed a police report. NO ONE AT YOUR COMPANY WOULD TAKE THE INFO OR HELP ME!!! I was told to call back when it went from pending to actually posted but now the automated line won't connect me to a representative. I shouldn't have to do the digging to prove innocence but once i have established it my money should be credited and a temporary account set up for me to use. Right now my bills are due and my current money as well as my future deposits are being held without any way to access them. I need an update to tell my other debtors so i can give them an idea when my money will be available to pay them.
This is poor customer service, this company has no direct connection to a live representative and noway to get the help needed. When you call to speak with someone they give you basic text book answers that don't answer anything. They ask me to send a picture of my Driver's license as proof that it's my account so they'll unlock it. What about the people who've had their wallet stolen and the thief has the DL? Is that a secure way to protect the account?
I want my money credited back to my card, the fee waived, and if i can't utilize my money due to fraud and am assessed late charges or reconnect fees because of the lack of customer care, they need to reimburse me for that as well.
I have been a customer for almost four years.
I have done the leg work and gotten video evidence that is being held pending a police investigation, i have called all available phone numbers listed for this company, i have tried contacting them by email and text. I finally got into my website account and was able to post a message. They want me to get copies of the receipts from a purchase i didn't do, over **** miles from here in order for me to get my stolen cash back.
