I have had Walmart Green Dot cards for at least ** years now and have never had a problem. Yesterday, on August **, ****, I had dental surgery with Dr. Brueggen in Houston, TX. I got a dental loan through I-Care through my dentist and was told that I needed my entire down payment of **% (which amounted to $*,***.**) on one card so they could swipe that one card. So on Wed., Aug. **, I called the number on the back of my cards to see what the daily limit was that I could deposit onto my cards. They checked the accounts of my three cards and told me my daily limit to deposit onto each card was $*,***.**. So I went into a Walmart on Highway * in Houston to deposit money onto my cards. they tried my first card and I was NOT able to deposit $*,***.**. They also tried $*,*** and it did not work. So they tried $*,***.** and that work. They swiped that cards two times, for a deposit of $*,***.** And they did the same thing on that card for a second time and that worked. Then on my third card, i deposited $*,***.** and the remaining cash I had which was under $*,***. I also went and deposited $*** that evening at my Louetta ave., Walmart in Spring, TX. The next morning at my dentist's office, they swiped my card ending in**** for $*,***.**. Then swiped my second card ending in **** for *,***.**. And then swiped by third card for $***.**. And all were accepted by the company for most of their $*,*** down payment. This morning at *:** a.m. i got an email from Walmart money card that they had CLOSED all my cards and I could no longer use them, load money on them. And I could no longer purchase their cards for use. This is a big misunderstanding. I called the number on the back of the cards the morning of **** and was told I could deposit up to $*,***.** on each card per day. Is there anything you can go to help me regain use of my * cards? Like I said, I have had my first one for approx. ** years and I love the convenience of going into Walmart to do my banking. My phone number is ***-***-****. Could you please call me and tell me if there is any remedy for this situation???
