Last Friday, Apr **th, while loading my Google accnt (LizC*****@***.com) to a new phone (but same phone number) my acct was placed under "Security Hold" when I couldn't provide a backup code as *-step verification. *When enabled back in Jan '**, I saved the codes to Drive cuz I didn't fully understand what they were for... now I realize how incredibly stupid that was.*I deleted the .txt file with the codes when clearing space on my tablet.*I also saved them to my Evernote account, however, I can no longer access that account b*c I have it linked to my Google ***I can provide a screenshot showing that I did indeed download the backup codes if that would help, but I cannot provide an actual code.*This has been a nightmare.*I'm being denied access even though I have the same phone number as listed on the account for years.* I'm using a device familiar to the acct (Galaxy tablet), have same recovery email, know exactly when I opened the acct cuz it was right after I got married (Dec **, ****). *I'm a photographer, I pay monthly for Drive storage, have thousands of photos on that accnt. *Work deadlines to meet but cannot get to my photos. Can't check my email now.*This is linked to my Adobe Lghtrm, Ebay, Paypal, FB, Insta, Evernote, CCU (bank), many others. *Can someone call or text me at the phone number associated with my accounts, ***-***-****? *Or message me here?*I have no other options to recover other than backup codes, even tho I have always had phone*device verification enabled, and that option is enabled on my recovery email.
