On October 9, [redacted], I received an email indicating that my primary account email had been changed from [redacted] to [redacted], apparently by a hacker. The email also mentions a phone number with a status of pending, originating from Nigeria. Despite having my phone number and verification code for access, I am unable to revert the changes as the hacker altered my current password. Although I have responded to multiple email notifications about this, I only receive automated replies from Facebook. Fortunately, Facebook seems to have my accurate information on record as indicated by the "Wasn't Me" button I clicked in response to their alert. At this point, I simply want to regain control of my account by reverting the email back to [redacted] and obtaining a reset code for my password. I am based in Oklahoma, not Nigeria. - Barbara A. Z.

This is my third email to Facebook in two days, and unfortunately, my account has been disabled now due to a violation of community rules. I previously reached out regarding this issue, and despite that, my account has been disabled. I was recently contacted by a friend who I believe is behind this, and I have filed a complaint against her through Messenger due to threats she made about taking away my Facebook and email accounts. I have attached all the messages containing these threats. I only interacted with her because she made donations to the homeless I assist, so I did not anticipate any threats from her. Additionally, I have reported her activities to Cash App as she seems to be involved in scamming people through the platform, taking money without permission. I have been trying to contact Facebook to resolve this, but have been unsuccessful in reaching out. It seems my contact details associated with my account have been altered by changing one number. I have changed my username to protect my privacy from the homeless people I help. The threats I received through Messenger requesting money for my passwords have been documented with screenshots. My Facebook account primarily consists of photos of my kids who are 18 years old. I have also informed Cash App about this issue. Furthermore, I am unable to access the email linked to my Facebook account.

Hello, I recently discovered that my Facebook account was compromised by my friends. In a state of panic, I deleted all my accounts on both my laptop and cell phone. I attempted to create a new account but was informed that I cannot use my old email address. Is there a way to recover and reactivate my old account with all its information and photos? I am not very tech-savvy and struggle when things go wrong. I have been using this email address for a long time, and changing it now would be very confusing for me. I have noticed that my friends section on my profile page has been filled with spam entries containing offensive messages from unfamiliar people. Strangely, when I click on "see all friends," my genuine list of friends appears as usual. Even after changing my password, the spam content persists. The copied spam text below my friends list is quite alarming.

Hello, I have been a Facebook user since [redacted], initially signing up with a University email address. After graduating, I switched to an email linked to a personal domain I owned. Later on, I added a gmail.com address when Facebook provided the option to link it. Unfortunately, I let the personal domain email expire. Despite my attempts to remove it, I couldn't as I needed access to it. It seems someone acquired the domain and used it to compromise my account, turning it into a scam/phishing scheme which led to its disablement. I tried using the recovery tools, but the reset emails were going to both addresses, allowing someone to reset my password before I could. Now, I am locked out of 17+ years worth of memories, friends, conversations, pictures, videos, and history. I own all Oculus quest devices with numerous purchased games and videos. I woke up to find out that my Gmail account was hacked and as a result, my Facebook and Instagram accounts were suspended. After securing my Gmail account, I reached out to Google support to verify the hack. However, dealing with Facebook has been a nightmare. They suspended my account for 30 days without providing an opportunity to explain the situation. Instead, they only requested identification and offer little hope of reviewing my account. This situation feels unfair as I am being penalized for something that was out of my control. Having had a problem-free Facebook experience for over 30 years makes this even more frustrating. It's frustrating not being able to speak to a real person and having to rely on a slim chance of resolution. Feeling extremely frustrated by the lack of support from Facebook.

I received a file with my personal information, like friends and followers, from Facebook, but I cannot download it. The file may have details of my Facebook Messenger contacts and general account information. After my temporary account suspension, I lost all my friends and app data. My original account was named Bob Liza, but it did not restore as before. I am now starting anew and missing all my contacts. Additionally, I lost my progress in the Golden Casino app, including 50 billion points earned over a year. Is there a way to recover these contacts and app data for my new account at [redacted]? Hello, I contacted you this morning via Messenger concerning my Facebook account ([redacted]). I suspected a hack as I received two strange emails today mentioning a new person joining Myokraft in Business Manager. Now, about 3 hours later, my account, and therefore access to my company account (www.facebook.de/myokraftkevelaer), is entirely blocked. Logging into Facebook, I receive the message: "Nick, you have objected to this decision" On October 12, [redacted] Here we inform you of the result Other Facebook users cannot see your account, and you cannot use it. Your employee mentioned investigating internally. Since I can no longer access Messenger, I am reaching out via email. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this issue. Thank you in advance. After resetting my phone last week, I've been unable to access my Facebook account, even with the correct login details, due to the 2FA code not being received. Despite uploading my passport scan and trying to repeat the process, I keep getting an error message. It's been a week, and there has been no improvement. I am only logged in on Instagram but cannot figure out how to use that to access my Facebook. Any assistance would be appreciated.

In January this year, my husband and I noticed that we were both removed as admins of our business page that we had for over 14 years. Our employee at the time only had "editor" status, and she couldn't add us back as admins or make any changes. Since she left, we are unable to post on our business page. We are unsure how or why this occurred, as the page was never restricted. We need assistance to regain admin access to our business page.

My personal Facebook account, Business Manager, Instagram account, Facebook business pages, charity page, and all groups I own have been suspended for an alleged breach of the community standards policy. According to Facebook's screen message, I have supposedly posted sexual images of children, which is untrue. Furthermore, Facebook tried to deduct nearly £[redacted] from my bank account after suspending my account, and I have not run any ads, leaving me puzzled about the charge. Despite sending numerous emails, reports, and messages on LinkedIn and Twitter, I haven't received a satisfactory response after reaching out over 20 times. My distress and frustration are overwhelming. Having dedicated six years to building my reputation and charity on Facebook, I am devastated to see it crumble in a matter of weeks. The credibility I worked hard to establish is at risk, and our charitable work for animals is suffering. Unfortunately, the lack of human support at Facebook makes it challenging to seek assistance and communicate with my followers about the situation.

Hello everyone, today (October 10th), I discovered that Instagram and Facebook have been blocked. I need your help urgently as there seems to be a huge mistake. My entire life is connected to my page. Can someone please explain what is happening? Could someone have reported my page or posted inappropriate content involving children?
