Subject: Help with Blocked Instagram Account My Instagram account with the handle karynakarskaya and email [redacted] has been blocked. I believe this happened after I downloaded a third-party app Follower Tracker IG Reports yesterday (24/08/[redacted]) to see who unfollowed me recently. I've used this app twice before without any issues. If I had known it could lead to this or violate Instagram's privacy policy, I would have never used it. I suspect the issue might be that when prompted for my phone number to receive a verification code, I first entered my primary number (+[redacted]50), then my secondary number (+[redacted]2) when the code didn't arrive immediately, thinking it was a carrier problem. I can confirm ownership of both numbers as needed. My account has always complied with privacy policies: I never impersonated anyone, only posted personal photos since [redacted], steered clear of illegal activities like advertising, propaganda, hate speech, etc. It's my personal account, vital for its 8-year archive of important personal photos, videos, conversations. Someone accessed my account the other night and changed the password. They also enabled two-factor authentication with their phone number. I managed to change the password back, but now I need a code from the "code generator" to log in, which is only available on the app. However, I never had the app on my phone and I've been logged out of my two devices. I received recovery codes via email, but they are not working due to the two-factor authentication. I'm concerned about the security breach and unsure how my login details were obtained. I don't know how to verify myself to recover my account. I would like assistance in regaining access or deleting the account to prevent any misuse.

I was surprised to find out that my account was disabled around 10 days ago. I submitted a complaint, sent my ID and picture for verification, but there has been no action taken to reverse the disablement. The message I received mentioned that I violated community standards, which I don't understand since I am not active in any groups that could breach these standards. I have been a member of FB since [redacted], and this is the first time I've faced such a drastic action without any prior warning. Hello, my Instagram account (@thakur_gyanesh_singh) has been disabled due to a violation that Instagram informed me about. I wasn't using the account at that time, and someone else used it to send content. I didn't receive any password change emails on my Gmail either. I believe someone else was using my account without my knowledge. If any posts or messages violated the guidelines, I apologize. I never intend to offend anyone or post inappropriate content. I'm unsure how this happened as I haven't shared my password or clicked on any strange links. I promise to be more vigilant to prevent this from occurring again. Hello, I'm Dee Mx from Facebook. Yesterday, someone illegitimately accessed my account and now it's locked. It appears they may have accessed my phone as well since they disabled the phone number linked to my account since [redacted]. Although I didn't use my real name on the account, I am very familiar with all the details and recent changes, including the new profile picture I updated. The email connected to the account is [redacted] The intruder added their phone number to my account, but I received an email notification immediately. The added phone number is [redacted].

I recently experienced an issue with Facebook after changing my password in response to an unsuccessful login attempt on my account. I have access to my Facebook account on my computer and phone, but I can't recall the password or the email used to set up my account. I bought a new laptop and need to change my password on Facebook to access it. I've tried to recover my Hotmail email, but I'm not providing enough information to recover it. I need to change my Facebook password without Hotmail access due to the importance of my business being linked to the account. I'm struggling to resolve this after days of trying. My business account on Facebook was hacked 24 hours ago, along with my personal account belonging to Denis Trostanetsky. I received an email from Facebook at 21:48 am in Israel regarding this incident. A virus has infected my home computer. I manage the advertising of my Shopify stores through the connected Business Manager, which is now severely impacting my operations due to this breach. Facebook charged $[redacted] through PayPal for an ad that I did not run. I am unable to access my account as the password and email have been changed, and Facebook cannot locate my phone number (+[redacted]47). The hacker changed my name on my personal page to Mk Guire Ive and it appears under my photo. Messages are being sent from my hacked account on behalf of my pages including Smolfrybabe. I urgently request the restoration of my account to prevent further harm to me and other Facebook users.

August 26, [redacted] To Whom It May Concern: I am writing today regarding a situation involving an individual I have never met who has been bullying and harassing me and my organization, Foster TV™️. When Cheryl Hodges initially contacted me, she accused my business partner of being involved in her grandchild's death and demanded their termination. After investigating, I found no truth to her claims and decided to continue working with my partner, Cyndi Mc Daniel. Despite this, Ms. Hodges took to social media, implicating me in her disputes with Mrs. McDaniel and her family. We were forced to take legal action to address her false allegations, including claims that we support harmful practices towards children, which is untrue. Ms. Hodges persistently spreads lies and encourages others to make false reports about me and Mrs. McDaniel's family, even though I had no connection to them until years after the incident she mentions. I have spent months addressing her baseless accusations, which have caused great distress. I have reported 24 harassing posts on Facebook alone, and Ms. Hodges continues to instigate false accusations against us. I wanted to share some personal experiences I had regarding almost being in dangerous situations. R. Smith I had some close encounters with danger in the past. Once in Jamaica when I was 12-13 years old, a man approached me while my mother was away, but I managed to escape. Another time, a police officer's son tried to hold me down, but I warned him off. In America, a group of boys restrained me in an elevator, but I fought back fiercely. Lastly, I had a scary encounter at a friend's apartment but managed to leave unharmed. I also mentioned my deceased spouse and how I would protect my children. Unfortunately, my account was temporarily blocked for sharing my story. This is concerning as I rely on this platform to update friends on my chemotherapy progress.

Yesterday, I received a text from Facebook with a code to verify my account, but I only saw it today. Now, I can't access Facebook on my phone. Facebook says they will send a code to my old phone number, which I no longer have. When I try my email, I'm told it's incorrect, even though it's correct. Facebook wants to send a code to the right email, but everything seems changed. I can't access my account, but the person who hacked it can. Facebook asked for my ID, but I'm uneasy about sending it. What should I do?

In February, our son passed away. He had [redacted] Facebook friends who were sending photos, videos, condolences, and sharing happy memories on his FB page. As his parents, who do not use Facebook, we were looking forward to accessing these messages at a later, less intense time. Despite Facebook's policy to remove inactive accounts after a full year, his account suddenly vanished at the end of July. A friend mentioned receiving a strange message about being "tagged" on his account before it disappeared. Entering his URL now prompts a "not available" or "no content" message. We were counting on his account to be memorialized so the memories could be cherished "forever." Unfortunately, before his trustee could make this happen, the account disappeared. We have been unsuccessful in reaching out to Facebook. The forms are not sending because his URL is considered non-existent. Our desire is for his account to be reinstated, along with all its photos, videos, comments, and memories, and properly memorialized.

Good morning, My name is Giulia M. Since this morning, I have been unable to access my Facebook account as it has been disabled. I only registered for the first time yesterday to sell some items since I will be moving in a few weeks. I must admit that I did not read the rules and may have unintentionally violated some of them. I wanted to get rid of a rocking chair trio, a welding machine that has not been used for months, some games my children no longer play with, and two pairs of unused shoes. Not being familiar with Facebook, I was unaware of the rules that needed to be followed, and I apologize for any violations. I might have sent my products to multiple online selling groups, which could have led to my account being deactivated. I am not sure. I am reaching out to understand what steps I can take. Dear Gethuman Team, I was hacked on Facebook on 06.08.[redacted]. I noticed this immediately and locked my account, then verified my identity with my ID. Shortly after, I received an email from Facebook with a one-time password allowing me to log in, which worked. Now, it is asking for a 6-digit code from the code generator, which I never set up before. I haven't activated two-factor authentication previously. I contacted Facebook Support via email at [redacted] and have not received a response in 3 weeks. When I try to log in using my phone number, it seems another email is linked to it. But when I log in using my own email, [redacted], I can reset the password. However, it then asks for the 6-digit code again. I am consistently bombarded with unwanted ads on my feed, including known scam ads, offensive content, and ads in foreign languages. Despite following the rules for hiding and reporting ads, spending hours adjusting my ad preferences, and submitting countless reports, the same ads keep reappearing. It has become a form of harassment as the same ads I have hidden and reported keep showing up repeatedly, sometimes even more frequently after I report them. Furthermore, I am now receiving content from people I have blocked or hidden, which is showing as hidden or blocked in my settings. The situation has escalated to the point where I feel the need to seek legal assistance to address this predatory behavior by the company. The censorship and biased fact-checking practices only add to the frustration. I have tried to stop the harassment, especially ads related to alcohol which trigger my PTSD, but they continue to flood my feed. It is disheartening to see such behavior from a company that claims to uphold certain standards, and I appeal for help and accountability in enforcing their own rules to prevent such distressing experiences.

I am frustrated by the continuous bombardment of my news feed with scam ads, some which are sexually explicit and in foreign languages. Despite my repeated efforts to hide and report these ads, they keep reappearing, sometimes right after I report them. It feels like harassment. On top of that, I am now being inundated with content from people I have blocked and hidden, even though their status shows as hidden or blocked. This situation is out of control, and it's clear that the company is not following its own rules when it comes to ad censorship. I am considering seeking legal action against this predatory behavior. It's disheartening to see that they prioritize profit over the well-being of their users. I am a combat veteran dealing with PTSD and alcoholism, and I have specifically requested to hide alcohol-related ads, only to have them increase instead. I urge Facebook to stop this harassment and adhere to their own guidelines for removing such ads and preventing blocked individuals from appearing on my feed.

My page was stolen, and every link I try to open for help at the support center is either broken or inactive. I have submitted a regular ticket, but the support team seems unresponsive. I have been the victim of a scam involving my page, and I have already reported the incident to the police who have opened a case as well. I have dedicated the last three years to this page, and due to the pandemic, I made a mistake and fell for a scam out of desperation for money. I have discovered their profiles, IDs, and gathered screenshots of them accessing my page, removing me as admin, and changing my friends' permissions. I was the sole administrator of my page. Hello, I am Ted Gravenhorst and I have been trying to regain access to my Facebook account linked to the email [redacted] I have provided photo IDs and other requested documents for security checks. While I successfully reset my password, I am now encountering a message saying my account has been locked since June 16, [redacted]. After logging in, I am prompted to unlock my account by receiving a code via email, but the email address displayed (s*************[redacted]) is not associated with me. Facebook's behavior is unacceptable. My account was unfairly locked on 08-13 for suspected activity, without a chance to review it. Despite multiple attempts to verify my identity by uploading my driver's license, Facebook Help requested my Social Security number and credit card details, which is outrageous. Feeling extremely frustrated, I sought legal advice from J. Eric M. at Johns, M. and Duncan. I suspect my account's suspension is linked to my Marketplace activities, as I can no longer access or manage my listings. The lack of communication channels with Facebook makes resolving this issue impossible. I just want my account reinstated and am willing to provide any necessary proof of identity, but Facebook's non-responsive stance is perplexing. It seems like Facebook Marketplace is incapable of making fair decisions.

While on vacation in Florida on 8/10/21, I received an alarming email from Facebook about a potential unauthorized access to my account. Following their advice, I changed my password and submitted my driver's license for verification. However, upon attempting to log back in, I was shocked to find my account disabled for breaching community standards. This is very troubling as I have always maintained a clean and family-friendly page, using it primarily for personal and business connections with family, friends, and clients. My business page for Great Mortgage is also managed through my personal account. I firmly believe any violations were the result of a hacking incident.
