Two months ago, I set up two-factor authentication. Shortly after, I had to reset my computer and phone to factory settings. As a result, I lost all the codes from the code generators. When prompted for the codes, I clicked "get additional information." I submitted my driver's license, received an email with a one-time login link, and accessed it from my mobile browser. Unfortunately, I realized I couldn't disable two-factor authentication from a mobile browser. I added trusted contacts, logged out of all accounts, and requested my account to be recovered by clicking "forgot account." Subsequently, I received a message stating my account was temporarily blocked due to suspicious activity indicating a potential hack. Upon reattempting to log in from my computer, I couldn't input the 6-digit code and when I clicked "additional help," everything vanished. I tried attaching documents for unlocking from my phone browser, but after multiple attempts, I have not received a response in 24 hours as promised. I urgently need access to my account as it is connected to my nonprofit organization's business page with funds and ongoing advertising responsibilities. I am unable to proceed and need your assistance.

Hello, I am having trouble playing Facebook games due to a pop-up warning that keeps reappearing after I close it. The warning states it can't be displayed, but I don't have any issues logging into Facebook; only the games won't load. I recently changed my name on Facebook from Kathrine Weinstock to Katherine and then back to Kathrine to match my real-life name change. Facebook is not allowing me to revert it back again within a 60-day period after the last change. I suspect this name change could be causing the warnings in my games. Hello everyone. I need some advice on a situation I'm facing. I recently purchased a new printer, and I'm having trouble setting it up to work wirelessly with my computer. I am experiencing an issue with Facebook's two-step authentication. My account was hacked, and I've set up the code generator again. I have always used my phone for two-step authentication, but now it does not seem to work. Although I have my email back on the account, I am unable to access two-step verification. My primary concern is my business account, as I cannot post anything online or contact my audience. I will provide thorough details of the steps I have taken through Facebook's self-help. Initially, I had no access as my email had been hacked and removed from the account. I contacted Facebook through the self-help option. I had to authenticate my identity with my driver's license, which resulted in my email being added back to the account. Following the email reset, I proceeded with the password reset. My friend deactivated her Facebook account for two months and saved an eight-digit screenshot of the two-factor authentication code instead of six digits. Now, upon trying to reactivate her account, Facebook is prompting for the six-digit code. She has since moved to a new country, no longer has access to her old phone number, and is unable to receive SMS codes. Despite reaching out to the current holder of her old number, no codes are being received.
She is puzzled as to why Facebook issued an eight-digit code when only six digits are required for login and why she cannot regain access through her email or alternative means.
She is seeking advice on how to regain access to her Facebook account with her available email and the stored codes that are not functioning.

My Facebook account has been compromised. The hacker altered the email and phone number linked to my profile. Despite my attempts to reset the password and verify my identity, I am unable to proceed due to the Code Generator step. Since the phone number was changed by the intruder, I am unable to access the required code. I have clicked on "Need Another Way to Authenticate?" but to no avail. This issue persists across various browsers on my computer and my phone. It is puzzling why the Code Generator is necessary since I am logging in from a familiar device and browser. All I seek is to regain access to my account.

I recently posted a listing on Marketplace for the first time, and unfortunately, it seems to have created a duplicate that I did not intend to make. While trying to negotiate a lower price with a buyer interested in my Harley Davidson Boots, I realized that the shipping weight defaulted to 0-1lb, so I made adjustments. However, I later found my listing in "IN REVIEW" status had disappeared. I tried looking for a solution through the help center and even spoke with a representative who provided me with a number to call. Unfortunately, when I tried, I was informed there is no live support available. I am unsure how to proceed without accidentally creating another duplicate listing. My Facebook account was hacked, and the email address and password were changed, leaving me unable to access my account. I received a notification from Facebook about suspicious logins from different browsers and locations. When I tried to secure my account, I reached a step where my email was needed to send a verification code, but the displayed email did not belong to me but to the hacker. This made it impossible to proceed further. Additionally, it seems the hacker has changed my associated phone number. I am currently locked out of my own account and have no way to regain access. Hello! I suspect that my Facebook account has been compromised and potentially deleted or disabled. Friends are unable to locate me on Facebook, and my attempts to recover my account have been unsuccessful as it does not show up. I reside in Minnesota and notice the intrusion originated from Coral Springs, Florida, US at 2:37 in the morning (Central time), with the IP address: [redacted].[redacted].[redacted].[redacted]. I have received an email on my [redacted] address informing me of changed FB password and email associated with the account. This Facebook profile has been my only account for over 15 years. I am uneasy knowing a stranger might have access to personal pictures, family photos, and private details. I am at a loss due to not being able to locate my account to recover it.

I've encountered a problem with accessing my account. My birth year was mistakenly changed to [redacted] instead of [redacted]. I tried verifying my age by uploading my ID, then was prompted to enter my mobile number and a 6-digit code received via text. However, the system kept asking me to upload an image, which I am unable to do.
I reached out to PC support, but they couldn't help me regain access to my original account. So, I had to create a new one and lost all my messages and contacts in the process. Even when trying to add new friends, the system repeatedly asks for my mobile number and the 6-digit code, followed by requesting an image upload, which I am unable to provide.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me in resetting my old account and resolving this issue.

On August 18th, [redacted], I received an email at my address, [redacted], from Facebook containing a Security Code, which I did not request. Another email alerted me that an unknown device attempted to access my account, followed by a notification of a password change at 11:54 PM, showing an IP address linked to Carson, California. Subsequently, I received an email confirming the addition of another email address to my Facebook account on August 19th at 1:28 PM. As a lifelong resident of Garden City, KS, I was asleep during these events and did not make these changes. My account is now inaccessible, and I need assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

I received a verification code on my phone, which I entered. Subsequently, the system acknowledged the information and mentioned a 24-hour account review process. I am reaching out for assistance regarding my Instagram account that was hacked. The hacker demanded $[redacted] to return my account with 10.2k followers. They posed as Instagram's appeal center and obtained my login details through a fake form. They altered my email from [redacted] to [redacted] and changed my username to @appealsigcenter, resulting in my account being deleted. I have screenshots of their messages. I have been a member of the "Ultimate Book Club" since late April [redacted]. Recently, I made a comment using a particular term to refer to myself, something I sometimes do. The admin then temporarily disabled my ability to post or comment in the group. Despite my attempts to reach out via messenger to clarify the situation, I did not receive a response. When I spoke with the admin in person, they mentioned they took that action to protect me. I was surprised because just days earlier, we had interacted without any mention of any issue with the way I refer to myself. On July 28th, I was creating an advertisement to sell my car on Marketplace. While doing so, I got a prompt to change my password due to potential unauthorized access. After updating my password, I attempted to access Marketplace but encountered a message preventing me from buying or selling on Facebook. I submitted a request for review and received a message stating "We're reviewing your request...". Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Facebook through Help and Support with no response, my ability to buy and sell remains restricted. I seek a resolution to restore my access and clarification on why the block was imposed.

I sent an email to Facebook's disabled and appeals email, but haven't received a response yet. My account that I tried to sign up for has been permanently disabled for violating community guidelines. I provided them with a photo of my driver's license to prove I wasn't using a false identity, but they deemed it invalid. I realized I was using a VPN at the time of registration, but I used my real name along with my driver's license/ID. I can no longer access Facebook pages from internet browsers and am prompted to sign in or sign up, which I cannot do. I just want to follow pages I used to browse without needing a Facebook account. My Facebook account was hacked, and the hacker changed the email address and phone number associated with it. I desperately need help retrieving my account using my Valid ID and providing information about the real owner to regain access. This is urgent as it's a crime that could impact many more people without immediate action.
I am reporting an incident involving my sister, Ruth Hirang Laureles. Her Facebook account was hacked yesterday morning (August 20,[redacted]), and the hacker is now using it to scam money from her friends and family via GCASH. They've fooled one of her friends into sending money to a GCASH account #[redacted]3 under the name TOM ERROL MANAOG, with two transactions totaling P20,[redacted] that need to be frozen to prevent further withdrawal or transfer.
Another friend also fell victim, sending P18,[redacted] to the same GCASH account in two transactions that need urgent attention. The hacker is still active, using my sister's account to communicate and trick more people. Attached are screenshots of the hacker's activities and financial transactions for your review and assistance in resolving this criminal act.
Please address this matter promptly to stop the scammer, possibly TOM ERROL MANAOG, before more people get defrauded.

I believe my account was blocked because yesterday (24/08/[redacted]) I downloaded the third-party app Follower Tracker IG Reports just to see who had unfollowed me recently. I had used this app twice before without any issues. Had I known it could lead to this or violate Instagram's privacy policy, I would never have used it.
The issue might be that when asked for my phone number to confirm my identity, I first entered my primary number (+[redacted]50) and then a secondary one (+[redacted]2) when the code didn't arrive immediately, thinking it was a network problem. I can confirm I own both numbers through any necessary means.
I also want to mention that my account has never violated the privacy policy: I haven't impersonated others, only posted my personal photos since [redacted], avoided illegal advertising, hate speech, and so on. It's my personal account, active for over 8 years, holding crucial personal photos, videos, and conversations. I hope for a prompt resolution and unblocking.
