I am experiencing difficulties logging in using either Chrome or Edge browsers. I prefer Chrome because it usually directs me straight to my posts without having to log in each time. However, I am unable to access my account due to password issues. When I try to retrieve my password, it prompts me to receive a code on an old Yahoo email that I no longer use, and the code is never sent. Even though I updated to Gmail and added my cell phone, the system does not provide the option to send a code to my cell phone and seems to be recognizing my home phone instead. The lack of alternative verification steps, such as security questions, is frustrating. Many other sites utilize cell phone verification or security questions, unlike the current system on this platform. There seems to be a lack of consideration for users facing account lockouts or password recovery obstacles.

My 89-year-old neighbor and his 85-year-old wife are struggling to access her Facebook account on their tablet. They can't recall the login details, the listed phone number is outdated, and her name was misspelled on the account. Facebook created new locked accounts for them. However, the wife is still logged in on their old tablet. Despite trying to reset the password, no email verification has been received. They lack the necessary identification for Facebook's verification process. As a tech-savvy neighbor trying to assist, I need guidance on resolving this to restore her access on the tablet.

Almost Robbery This is my story. My cousin borrowed my account to play the game "Free Fire" just to upload my badge. When he asked if I would give him the account, I replied that there wasn't a day the account didn't find me. He locked me out, so I went to Gmail and noticed that a certain phone number had changed on the account I gave him to protect. An error message appeared saying the account couldn't be found because I had clicked on the place where the accounts are stored and forgot my password. It redirected me to a page where I needed a code, but upon seeing the number was unfamiliar, I asked my cousin. He claimed not to know anything. I checked my contacts and found a number ending in 10, which belonged to my cousin. I informed his mother that my cousin had stolen my Facebook account. After confronting him, I asked for any codes sent to him to regain access to my account, but they ended up blocking it. In Spanish, I am from Latin Colombia, Chaparral.

I believe someone has compromised my account by changing the email and phone number associated with it. This is concerning, as I have business contacts among my friends on Facebook. Additionally, the unauthorized individual now has access to my messages and personal information, which puts my privacy at risk. I urgently need to regain control of my account. The hackers used a deceptive tactic, promising me a blue authentication tag for my Instagram account. They then requested sensitive documents like my CV and driver's license, along with a photo of myself holding them. They instructed me to update my phone number on both Facebook and Instagram, which I unwittingly did. Subsequently, they sent verification codes to my email and phone, requesting that I provide them with the codes. I have included the phone number of the individuals responsible and the messages they sent me via email and WhatsApp for reference. For over a year, I have managed my business's Facebook page as the admin. Unfortunately, approximately six weeks ago, the connection between Facebook and Instagram was suddenly severed. This disruption has created significant complications for our third-party software, which relies on the linked accounts. Despite submitting several assistance requests over the past six weeks through various channels and attempting numerous troubleshooting methods like resets, logins/logouts, and device and browser changes, the issue persists. I even removed and then re-added myself as an admin before waiting a week, but to no avail. The Business Suite still doesn't allow me to re-establish the link between Facebook and Instagram, indicating my admin status without granting me associated privileges. As a small nonprofit organization, this ongoing dilemma is impeding our operations.

I used Facebook Marketplace to list wedding reception napkins for sale. Initially, I quoted a price and calculated shipping costs, generating a USPS label which I took to the post office. However, upon realizing an additional $20 was needed for shipping to Florida, I decided not to proceed with the mailing. Consequently, Facebook Marketplace indicates an outstanding order on the original listing preventing its deletion. I posted a new ad for wedding napkins at $[redacted] with shipping included. This morning, my Facebook account was accessed without my permission while I was asleep. The email address, phone number, and password linked to the account were altered, resulting in me being logged out of all devices. I received notifications at 5:24AM with a security code, then at 5:26AM informing me about an unfamiliar login attempt, and finally at 5:30AM stating my password was changed. Despite trying to secure my account as prompted, I couldn't receive the necessary two-way authentication code because my phone and browser were unrecognized. Even after reporting the issue, resolving it has been challenging as the system is focused on the login code itself rather than the issue of not receiving it due to altered info. When attempting to log in using the old password, I had to secure my account, but the reset code was only sent to the new unknown email address associated with my account after the unauthorized changes. I attempted to confirm my identity by submitting my ID, but Facebook doesn't recognize my email address or phone number as linked to an account, making recovery difficult. Despite multiple attempts to receive a security code, I keep getting emails about unauthorized access without any further progress, along with my browser recognizing itself as a previous device but not allowing any actions. The frustration led me here, hoping for assistance in updating my account details or receiving a security code to regain access. I'm willing to provide any necessary identification to verify my ownership of the account.

On Wednesday morning, while viewing a friend's Story on Facebook, an unusual incident occurred. After clicking, random boxes started popping up, leading me to hastily press the [Esc] key. Later that morning, I was surprised to find that I had been forcibly logged out of my account, with the password changed without my knowledge. After researching what to do in case of a hacked account, I followed the suggested steps and received a prompt to reset my password. However, the associated email had been altered to an unfamiliar address, blocking my access completely. Despite creating a new account using my cellphone number, I still couldn't resolve the issue. I urgently need to regain access to my original Facebook account, which is linked to my email, [redacted], and phone number, [redacted]. In the meantime, I set up a secondary account under the name David Swanner from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with the same phone number for support.

Last month, my FB account got blocked because they claimed I violated their rules. I followed the steps to prove my identity by submitting a copy of my ID, but FB did not respond and I couldn't reach them to explain that my account was hacked. To make matters worse, my credit card was compromised through FB, resulting in a loss of around [redacted] €. Despite my efforts, FB did not address these issues or allow me to clarify what had transpired. Recently, FB informed me that my account was cancelled. I've been an active user for years, sharing music content as a DJ/producer, running promotions, and never breaching any rules. It's frustrating to lose years of posts, photos, and promotions without a chance to give my side of the story. This experience highlights FB's incompetence and lack of accountability. It's a concerning situation that could happen to anyone, leaving you feeling powerless and isolated. While I lack the resources to take legal action, I have decided never to reopen an account with FB.

I am encountering issues promoting on Instagram and Facebook due to a policy violation labeled as “Non-Functional Landing Page". Despite not breaching any of the 15 policy bullet points, my site is flagged. In a recent rejection notice, I was instructed to create a new post with updated website URL(s) as the current link was deemed inaccessible. On a daily basis, I receive notifications from Facebook informing me that I have missed messages, group updates, photo tags, and other notifications from friends. The message states that if I don't log in soon, my account will be deactivated. However, when I try to log in, I encounter the following message: "Reviewing Your Information May Take Longer Than Usual" due to reduced staff availability amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This situation prevents me from accessing my account for security reasons. I am aware of others who had similar issues resolved within 24 hours, but I have not received a timeline for when my account will be reinstated. The conflicting instructions from Facebook are frustrating, as they prompt me to log in while simultaneously restricting my access. I am past the point of understanding, especially as I observe Facebook acknowledging posts on my page.

I am currently dealing with an issue involving a group called Georgia Paranormal. After attempting to report the situation 20 times, no action has been taken. The individual behind the group posted something that I found offensive, and then proceeded to block me. They have been harassing me, demanding that I stop messaging them. I only reached out because I wanted the content removed, but my requests have been ignored. If this continues, I will need to pursue alternative avenues to address this matter. The lack of response and assistance in this situation is only exacerbating the problem.

I recently received notice that my account was closed for safety reasons. Unfortunately, I am stuck in a loop when trying to reopen it as each link redirects me to the blocked account message. This incident has caused major setbacks for my advertising campaign, and I have no way to appeal this decision. My Marketplace account has been under review for four weeks now. I sell authentic items and always follow the guidelines. On March 24, [redacted], my Marketplace account was blocked on Facebook.
