Two weeks ago, I noticed a change in the email address associated with my Facebook account - it's now an email address I don't recognize. Despite following Facebook's online instructions, I haven't been able to regain access. The security codes are being sent to the unfamiliar email address, making it impossible to verify my identity. Even using my phone number leads me back to the email verification issue. This is troubling as I have three Facebook pages, one linked to my work with a linked credit card, and another dedicated to a hobby. I've also run ads on these pages but can no longer access them. While the person who gained control hasn't caused harm yet, I am worried about the situation.

On Friday evening, my account got hacked. The hacker changed my password, email address, and recovery information. To secure my account, I followed the instructions I received in an email from Facebook reporting that my account was accessed from Houston, TX, a place unfamiliar to me. I submitted my photo ID and passport for verification. On Saturday, March 6, I successfully reset my password. However, I'm now unable to receive the login code from Facebook. Despite downloading Google Authenticator, I am unable to get it to work for Facebook's required QR code scanning. I have contacted Facebook multiple times and provided my cell phone number for SMS code sending, but unfortunately, I haven't received any response yet. Dealing with this situation has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. I believe a company as large as Facebook should have better customer service to assist users promptly in situations like this.

I'm currently locked out of my account after deleting the app on my phone. Unfortunately, I can't remember my password and no longer have access to the email linked to the account. Hello, I am having trouble accessing my account "best always kk." It seems to be unsecured, and despite trying everything, I am unable to secure it. I believe I am the one who created the account initially. The issue arose on a Sunday night while I was using my account to log into a game through my Facebook account. I received a prompt to secure my Facebook account, which led to the loss of access to both my game and Facebook account. I really need my Facebook account for the game and I am at a loss. I am experiencing an issue with my Facebook Business Manager where my ad account has been restricted, even though I have never created an ad on Facebook. I will need to use it for my business soon. When trying to request a review, I encounter a problem on the first page asking me to confirm my identity, as the continue button does not work. Similarly, when navigating through the help center, I am asked to select an ad account for review, which I am unable to do as it claims I have no ad accounts, despite the restriction notice. I have 26 days left to fix this before the account is permanently restricted, but I am unable to find a way to contact support for assistance.

I recently joined Facebook's dating service in the UK and connected with a local woman who wanted to chat on WhatsApp. Despite her UK-based phone number, she claimed to be from Berlin, Germany, which raised suspicions. I promptly blocked her and attempted to report her profile to Facebook. However, Facebook did not acknowledge the discrepancy and advised me to block her without further investigation.

My name is Adhm, and I was born on 09.09.[redacted]. I use [redacted] for my Facebook account, and I am 20 years old. Recently, my Facebook account got hacked, and after I managed to recover it, Facebook denied me access. I suspect this issue is related to an Instagram ad that seemed like it was from PUBG Mobile, leading me to unknowingly reveal my Facebook credentials. As a result, my Facebook account was closed, and my PUBG account was compromised. I have been waiting for Facebook's assistance to reactivate my account. I recently discovered that my age information, which I had set to be private, was somehow visible to others. In an attempt to rectify this, I accessed my account settings to secure my age details. Unfortunately, I received a notification stating that my account had been disabled pending verification of my age. Despite providing a photo of my birth certificate as proof, my account has remained disabled for nearly 6 months. I was advised that the Facebook team would assist in resolving this matter, but I have yet to receive any communication or solution. Last month, my Facebook account unexpectedly started asking me to log in, but I couldn't remember my old telephone number, email, and password. Before this, I could easily access my account by clicking on the icon. I ended up creating a new account and losing all my previous information. Why did Facebook add this requirement to retrieve old information to access my account?

I am having trouble resetting my password on Facebook. When they send the code to my email, I don't receive it. I believe this is because my primary email on the account is no longer valid. I am trying to delete the invalid email to receive the code on my current email. Can you please provide instructions on how to do this? Thank you. I initially thought I was contacting Facebook directly. If it's not possible to delete the old email, I would like Facebook to resolve the issue of not receiving the password reset code and inform me once it's fixed.

Hi Riley/Security/Appeals team at Facebook, On 11/10/20, I encountered an error on my account, Martin Koenigsberg, regarding "Community Standards" violations that led to a suspension. Despite providing the requested phone number and ID promptly, I was unable to read the specific charges. Instead, my account displayed a message stating that review times were delayed due to the pandemic, preventing me from accessing my account. After understanding the updated rules on multiple accounts, I voluntarily closed my other account, Martin Kingsmount, on 12/13/20. I anticipated a 30-day wait for my account to be reinstated post closure, but as of 1/13/21, there has been no resolution. I am unsure if I am banned or suspended, the reasons behind it, or the duration of the suspension if applicable. I am puzzled by the lack of communication from Facebook despite having updated my contact details twice. I am eager to reconnect with my friends and family, and the absence of clarity on this situation for [redacted] days is distressing. I believe my Facebook account has been hacked. This morning, I received a concerning message after a few friends alerted me that someone was pretending to be me and sending friend requests. The latest message warns about a hacker named Prince Obinna Solomon. Supposedly, accepting a friend request from this person can lead to being hacked. The message instructs to forward it to all contacts to prevent any issues. It's essential to spread the word and be cautious of suspicious activities.

My friend's account was disabled after he changed his name from 'Aung Pyae Kyaw' to 'MrJack Sparrow' and logged in. He asked me to help recover it. However, his email was not linked to the account, and the phone number was associated with another account. We suspect it might be a bug. He has submitted an appeal form to Facebook for review, but we have not received a response yet. I received a message from someone claiming to be my nephew, asking for help to recover his account. Believing it was him, I provided a code sent to my phone. Shortly after, I received an alert from Facebook stating my account was accessed from Nigeria. Despite trying to secure it, my account was taken over, containing 10 years worth of memories. The hacker is now asking my friends and family for money. I've had multiple reports made by my loved ones, but Facebook claims it doesn't violate their standards. This situation feels unjust. If I can't regain access, please deactivate the account to prevent further solicitation. I can provide ID to prove ownership. Any necessary information will be provided. Requesting assistance.

I have been blocked from using my account due to biased reasons. I believe everyone should have the freedom to think independently. Information can be interpreted differently based on personal beliefs. I don't think it's fair for fact checkers to dictate how people should think when they were not invited to my page. It would have been more appropriate to request the removal of content rather than imposing restrictions. I request that the restrictions on my account be lifted as I feel censored. People should be allowed to express their truths without being silenced. Requesting once more to have the limits removed.

The photo was removed, and I question why I'm restricted on Facebook until March 17. Could there be a mistake on the site? I have friends with more explicit content. I needed to free up space on my cellphone to update YouTube, so I decided to delete apps I didn't need. I thought I only deleted Hulu, but it turns out I also deleted my Facebook app. Now, I am having trouble logging in after re-downloading the Facebook app. I have my username but forgot my password. It asks to send a code to an old email I can't access and my current phone number doesn't seem linked to my account. Using my old phone number is not successful either.
