I set up an account for our group page and was able to edit it the first day without any issues. The following day, when I tried to log in from the same device, I was met with a message about "suspicious activity" and now I am unable to access my account without providing my mobile phone number to Facebook, which I am reluctant to do. I find it frustrating that this information was not necessary when setting up the account initially. Do I now need to provide my phone number to continue using the account? I feel misled by this change. Could you please advise if this is a required step or if there is a way to resolve this issue without sharing my phone number?

While using Facebook, I received a message indicating that my session had expired and was logged out. Upon trying to log back in, I encountered issues with my password. After resetting my password, a notification appeared stating that my account had been locked for security reasons and required identity verification through text. Despite selecting this option, I did not receive any messages. Attempting to be contacted by phone initially caused site crashes, and now I am informed that I have made too many requests. I have exhausted all avenues, including voicemails, emails, and the unhelpful help center. I urgently need access to my account due to the valuable photos and memories stored there. Unlocking my account is crucial.

I am having trouble accessing my Facebook account and business page. Despite multiple attempts, I haven't received the SMS code needed to reset my password. I tried submitting my ID to reset but the emailed link is always invalid. Unfortunately, I had to create a new account and business page, losing all my followers and reviews. Additionally, I can't link my new business page to Instagram because it's still connected to the inaccessible account. I suspect the issue may be related to using the same email and phone number for another account. I have contacted Facebook for help but have not received a response yet.

I recently noticed that only my two daughters can view my Facebook posts, while no one else has access to them. Upon checking my desktop settings, I realized that "specific friends" were selected under who can see my posts, limiting the visibility to just my daughters. Although I switched it to "public," it reverted to "specific friends" shortly after. Despite my repeated attempts to change it back, the setting keeps reverting, resulting in no one else being able to see my posts. I also noticed a greyed-out "post" box next to the selection that I cannot click on. Can anyone offer advice on how to resolve this issue?

Some videos that were posted on my timeline a few months ago were meant for entertainment purposes as I am a recording artist. Initially, these videos were shared by people, but recently, there has been renewed sharing activity. It appears that someone may have reported my page. I rely on Facebook as a platform for my music endeavors. Despite my attempts to create a new timeline and business fan page, I have faced obstacles as I continue to use my artist name (Tony Fyaa) and accurate personal information, which are essential to my identity. Yesterday, a hacker accessed my laptop and then hacked my Facebook account by linking it to his email and deleting mine, all to steal my PUBG account. I reported the issue to Facebook and provided my ID copy. Today, I received an email from Facebook with a link and code to recover my account. However, my account is still linked to the hacker's email, making it difficult to recover as any notifications or codes will go to his account. The link provided is not working, and I am unable to access my account. Please assist me in resolving this matter. [redacted] is my Facebook account email, which the hacker removed. The hacker's current email, controlling my account, is [redacted], which I found in the first email notifying me of the hacking.

I am struggling to access my account as it requires a code that I cannot retrieve without first being logged in. I have attempted multiple solutions, but I remain locked out of my account, where I have been active for years. The system keeps prompting me for a code upon login. I have been locked out for 2 days now, and despite resetting my password due to repeated login attempts, I am now stuck without the necessary code. This code is only accessible within the account settings, which poses a challenge as I do not have a third-party app to assist with this issue. Moreover, the email address linked to my account is outdated, adding another layer of difficulty. Although I managed to update the email address to a current one, I am desperate to regain access to my Facebook account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My access to Marketplace on Facebook has been blocked. I am currently using Facebook without access to Marketplace. My account was suspended due to alleged violations of Commerce Policies. I have been selling and advertising on Marketplace like many others, but all my posts are being blocked for violating Commerce Policies. Recently, even a simple Independence Day greeting to my group members resulted in a violation notice for breaking community standards. Despite multiple inquiries and appeals, I only receive automated responses stating my case is being reviewed. It seems competitors are misusing the system to report my posts. I have unsuccessfully tried reaching out to Facebook through various public helpline numbers, which I suspect are fake. As an Indian resident, my Facebook account is under the email [redacted] This forum is my final attempt to seek help in having my Marketplace suspension lifted. I urge Facebook to thoroughly investigate before suspending users, as I am confident I have abided by all Commerce Policies and Community Standards. I hope for a positive resolution. I have already reported my issue to Facebook. They requested my ID and sent me a code to hold up in front of me for a photo. After I submitted it, they said it wasn't enough proof. I then sent a copy of my passport and received confirmation that everything was fine, but I still cannot log in. This is because I no longer have access to my old phone number, which Facebook uses to send codes. I informed them that it was my mistake for not removing the number but I cannot retrieve it. I asked Facebook to delete it, but they have not acknowledged my request. I am stuck on this matter. How can I make Facebook understand that they need to remove this number?

Someone has added a phone number and email address to my Facebook account without my consent. The added phone number is [redacted] and I suspect it's a scam. I want these unauthorized changes removed from my page immediately as they are causing me a lot of inconvenience. The correct contact information associated with my account is [redacted]. I've had this number for years, and it's linked to important accounts like Google. The added email addresses are [redacted] and [redacted] The first one is my primary email, and the second is for account recovery. Please remove them both from my account. I've already contacted support about this issue, and they are working on resolving it. It's essential to verify my identity on all pages with my friends. I want to consolidate all my pages into one, including my husband's, to simplify things. This is the fifth time I'm reporting this problem, please address it promptly and ensure my account information is correct.

I am experiencing an issue with my Facebook account. The registered mobile number and email address associated with my account are no longer accessible. I recently started at a company where I manage the Facebook business page. The page was set up by a previous employee using a personal account with a 'business-related name' instead of a real person. To create a business manager account, I provided necessary evidence like our incorporation certificate, companies house registration details, and a utility bill for verification. Now, Facebook is asking for photographic ID related to the personal account used to set up the page, which doesn't exist. As a result, the personal account and connected pages have been disabled. We urgently need to fix this by linking our business pages to a real person's account, like our owner or managing director, so we don't lose our page, followers, and ad accounts. On the 22nd of July, I encountered an issue while trying to access my Facebook account across various devices - my phone, iPad, and laptop. After attempting to sign up using my email, I was prompted to select 5 friends and provide a photo of my passport for identification, resulting in a new account being created, and locking me out of my original one. Despite my family and friends being able to see my original account, I am unable to access it. As an individual who travels frequently, especially for sailing, reconnecting with fellow sailors is essential to me. I have visited multiple shops in different countries since the incident, suspecting that my account may have been deleted on one of the devices. I am seeking assistance to regain access to my original account. Having received recommendations from friends in the USA, I am hopeful that someone on this platform can help resolve this matter as my previous emails to various Facebook addresses have not yielded results. Hi, my Facebook name is Godsgift Unwana, and I have been a Facebook user for the past nine years. On July 23, [redacted], at 11:44 AM, I received an email from the Facebook security team notifying me that my account may have been accessed by someone else. My password was changed at the same time on July 23, [redacted]. The hacker used my account to contact my friends and promote an empowerment program known as money doubling. I cooperated with Facebook support, providing my ID for verification and successfully recovered my account using the link sent by Facebook. I removed the scammer's email from my account to prevent further unauthorized access, but the next day, I found my account disabled, possibly due to reports filed by friends to protect them from the scam. My family is concerned because we were all locked out of our family account, especially my niece who is fighting cancer. We were all admins but now cannot access it. I was recently banned from Facebook for one day due to posting the album cover of Led Zeppelin's "Houses of the Holy," which someone incorrectly deemed to violate the platform's policy on nudity or sexual content. I shared this in a closed music group, not publicly. While I appreciate Facebook's vigilance on nudity, the album cover is found in many households with children. I've reported instances of racism or hate speech on the platform before, which were deemed not to violate their policies. It seems there may be double standards at play here.

Over the past weekend, I received two fraudulent videos via Messenger, which I did not open. On Tuesday, August 13th, some Facebook contacts informed me that the same video was sent from my account indicating I had been hacked. While at work, I quickly posted a message on my timeline to disregard the video. The next morning, I found myself locked out of my accounts and have been trying to restore access for two days without success. Despite changing my password 18 times, I encountered issues during the process. When prompted about an email or phone number linked to my account that isn't mine, the page froze when I attempted to skip the step. Despite entering codes sent to my phone and completing friend picture recognition, I remain unable to restore my account. This situation is concerning as I have vital contacts only reachable through Facebook. Improved system functionality or customer service support from Facebook is needed.
