I deactivated my Facebook account about * months ago, after trying to regain access to my account my account couldn’t be located. I’ve tried contacting Facebook on several occasions with no support. I’ve given up and accepted the fact that my account is gone and I have no access to the hundreds of pictures and other information I had on my account. Occasionally I still try to login. Today I tried my email address and nothing. When I tried my phone number I was alerted that I needed to send Facebook (through the verification screen) my picture to verify that was my account, which I did. On the next screen is said they were reviewing the photo corresponding to the account and will get back to me, in which currently until they figure it out that account is frozen to whoever is using it. It said the name on the account is Mayar, which that’s my phone number that I’ve had for *** years and as long as I’ve had a Facebook account, which is at least * years with the same account, has been on the account ever since. I used my phone number to get alerts and to sign in as well. So upon my own investigation and trial and error I’ve figured out that my account was hacked and stolen from me and Facebook wouldn’t tell me or help in anyway. Now that I know someone is using my account I want it deleted and the person held responsible or I will contact the better business bureau again.
