UPDATE! I sent in all info requested and still waiting! It shows fixed on the side bar here...No it was not! I'm still waiting but I think I found a nice person at facebook to help!

I went to sign into my personal facebook page and it wouldn't let me. I kept getting a response to send in my personal info to prove my identity. I DID and still waiting.*Ridiculous! ... UPDATE...STILL NOT FIXED as of *:**pm. all I got was another email asking for a name I wish to use cause apparently the one I used isn't okay after years of using it, I gave them my actual again with proof and the waiting continues! This is complete BS and yes I'm pissed at how this is being handled! *My acct named “Lisamarie loves the Horse Ranch” is not letting me in. Keeps asking for me to identify my name and send in pics of personal info. I send a copy of my USA passport covering all info except my name. I got an email back saying it wasn’t clear but it was and I also sent in a pic of my name from google gmail. I’ve had this fb acct for approx ** yrs and was never asked for my personal info. I have my business page and group page linked to this fb acct and I’m the only person who has access to pages but because I can’t get into my personal page I can’t get to my business pages. My business is fairly new and only now is it growing. I’ve linked all my webpages to my fb business pages and if this isn’t resolved I’ll have to remove fb social media links off my websites. Please fix ASAP or just delete my entire acct so I can at least redo my business pages on fb from scratch. I’m not keen to sending personal info over internet, especially when there appears to be a hacker problem. Your prompt attention to this would be appreciated. I’m not happy on how I have to research just to find help from fb on an acct I can’t sign into.

My business pages are linked to my personal Facebook page. I will never do that again! This has been an aggravating and frustrating lesson learned! DO NOT open up business pages with your personal facebook account.

Immediately and facebook needs to provide better customer service if they're going to require personal ID to recover accounts through internet. I want to know who I'm talking to and what hands my personal info is going in, especially when it also pertains to my business as well.

So Approx ** yrs being on facebook social media...It was a personal enjoyment playing farmville with family and friends but as facebook and social media grew it became a great platform for businesses too. Unfortunately if you rely on facebook too much, your business can be vulnerable to being shut down on their platform with no warning and no one to reach out to immediately to remedy the situation. Thank God I'm spread out through other social media platforms. This incident has only instilled how not to put all your eggs in one basket.
