Good afternoon,**My name is Michelle Trigger, I am an attorney located in Roseville, CA. I practice primarily Family Law in the Greater Sacramento area. Recently, a former client of mine came to my office, threatened, and assaulted me. This client was Kareem Hightower.**I represented Mr. Hightower in a child custody and visitation matter last year, as he had been banned from visitation with his child due to a five-year restraining order granted against him. My services were performed in full, he thanked me, and the attorney-client relationship ended.**On April **, ****, Mr. Hightower showed up to my office and was inexplicably angry and became violent. I suspect he may have been intoxicated and was upset that his visitation was not going well and somehow blamed me for it. I was forced to call police, who thankfully responded almost immediately and removed him from the property. I was advised to immediately seek a restraining order against him. The full details are encompassed in report ***-***** with the Roseville Police Department.**As he was being removed, he threatened to leave false reviews online to "ruin me." I found this threat surprising, as I had no idea what Mr. Hightower could possibly say badly about me, given my representation had concluded with him receiving visitation with his child five days per week, despite the restraining order against him.**Last night, I was alerted through my business page that "Farayi Hondo" left a one-star review for my business. The only negative review I have ever received since opening in ****. I have never represented anyone by the name of Farayi Hondo, or anyone with a similar name. Upon reviewing it, it was clear Mr. Hightower was posting under a name that is not his, and had written a review that is completely and utterly false. I am ***% positive it was Mr. Hightower, as he has numerous photographs on this profile and it is clearly him.**The review itself is not only untrue, but is not even remotely relevant to those services I provided Mr. Hightower. He makes a number of accusations that have sever ethical implications as a licensed attorney, including asserting I failed to appear on a matter for him, took his money without a contract, and "prey" on others. I can provide very clear documentation that none of these accusations are, or could be, true. More importantly, these accusations are further harassment in addition to the assault I suffered from him earlier this week, as I find myself distraught that he is actively attempting to sabotage my business, and afraid his harassment will continue.**I am writing to Facebook to seek your assistance. I understand that reviews are made on business pages in an effort to assist other consumers and in order to preserve an unbiased system, reviews are not removed simply because they are negative. Reviews that are, however, irrelevant, untrue, harassing, or otherwise made for a reason other than to provide genuine feedback are eligible to be removed.**I have reviewed your community standards and feel Mr. Hightower's "review" is absolutely a violation of both the community standards, and law enforcement orders for him to not contact or further harass me. He has posted under a false name, discussed services which never occurred, and made patently defamatory statements. Further, he is doing it for the sole purpose of harassment--not to assist other community members.**For these reasons, I am hopeful a team member can assist me with having Mr. Hightower's post removed.
