I am struggling to connect with a real person after my Experian account was unexpectedly canceled. Despite numerous attempts, the various Experian customer support numbers have not led me to a resolution. I am feeling extremely frustrated and hope to speak with a representative who can address my specific concerns. In my previous email dated 12/24/19, I was notified of a upcoming membership fee of $[redacted].82, but my credit card was actually charged $[redacted].74 on 12/28. The bill only covers until 1/15/20, so it's unclear if I was charged again on 1/30/20. I am seeking a refund and an explanation for the unauthorized charge of $[redacted].74. Member ID: [redacted][redacted]

My name is Mary A. from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Yesterday, my husband and I purchased a car. During the credit application, the finance person noted that my credit file was thin. I received an email alert indicating that Experian blocked a credit inquiry because my file was locked. The dealership requested to have it unlocked, but I've been struggling to reach a real person at Experian using various contact numbers. Despite providing my social security number multiple times, the automated prompts have not addressed my issue. I've repeatedly pressed 0 in hopes of speaking to an operator or someone who can help unfreeze my Experian account. The dealership is understanding, but my patience is wearing thin. Can someone please contact me this afternoon? My cellphone number is [redacted].

I spoke with someone on Friday, May 21, [redacted], at 8:25 a.m. to request the cancellation of my account because it was not honored last month, resulting in a charge of $24.99 due to the mistake. I received an email at 9 a.m. that morning confirming the cancellation and stating that my account was now free to use every 6 months. However, at 11:45 a.m. on the same day, my bank account was unexpectedly charged, putting it in the negative. I would like a refund of the $24.99 that was erroneously taken from my account. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. I am willing to provide my email and bank statements as proof if necessary. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. - Asha C.

I recently reviewed my report dated 2/28/[redacted] and noticed that it does not reflect my current open trades accurately. Back in August [redacted], I purchased a [redacted] Toyota Camry on credit from E&A Auto Sales, Inc. in Jamaica, NY. I made a down payment of $3,[redacted].00 and financed around $8,[redacted].00 through the seller, with the lien duly recorded by the Department of Motor Vehicles. I faithfully made monthly payments for three years until I recently obtained the lien release. I intend to submit this release for inclusion in my record. Additionally, I have taken out small loans for two other vehicles, which can be verified through their registrations at the Department of Motor Vehicles. These loans were also privately financed and repaid without any defaults. I believe these transactions, especially the one with E&A Auto Sales, Inc., should be reflected in my records, considering the seller is a licensed used car dealer. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, S.H. P.S. I would appreciate guidance on how to upload these documents for your review.

I am Sushanie Hepguler and I am seeking assistance in updating my credit report to include a car purchase I made in February [redacted] from E & A Auto Sales, Inc. The total purchase amount, including taxes and fees, was $9,[redacted].75. I made a $3,[redacted] down payment and financed the remaining $6,[redacted].75 with a 24-month payment plan at $[redacted].79 per month. I have never missed a payment and received a lien release upon completion of the payment plan. Despite this being a significant credit transaction, it is not currently reflected in my credit history. I have previously reached out via email and provided documentation of the loan, lien release, and car title. I kindly request assistance in ensuring this purchase is accurately reflected in my credit file. Thank you for your help.

I am having trouble unfreezing my account. Each time I follow the steps, I receive the message: "We were unable to honor your request to temporarily remove your security freeze based on the information you entered." The documents should display my name, current address, and issue date. Unfortunately, I need my account unfrozen today as I am in the process of renting an apartment. My spouse and I have been attempting to set up her Social Security MyAccount for a week now. Every time we try, we get tripped up by the questions regarding our credit report. Tonight, 3/12/[redacted], we faced the same issue once more. We are confident that the answer to all the questions was "none of the above" as we haven't had a mortgage since approximately [redacted], nor do we have an auto loan or payments related to either. Additionally, her maiden name starts with "K," not "Ik." Upon contacting Social Security, we were informed that the discrepancy lies with Experian's information. I've been trying to create an Experian account for three days but keep failing due to an existing account that I am unaware of. The email notifications are being sent to an unfamiliar address, creating a frustrating cycle. The automated assistance from Experian is not helpful, leaving us stuck in this loop. We desperately need to speak with a live person to resolve this issue. My wife is willing to provide any necessary information to address this matter, as I assist her with technical aspects. Please connect me with a representative to rectify this situation promptly.

I am disputing a late payment on my Kohl's credit card. I have always maintained a good payment history, as evident from my credit report. I have the funds to pay my bill on time and was unaware of any missed payment. I was not notified through any means until 60 days later when I received a call. I have always paid my bills in full, and I never agreed to receive online statements. I believe that I should have been informed before any late fees were incurred. I discussed the issue with a representative who acknowledged the lack of communication and promised to file a dispute regarding the situation. I have evidence of the call on my phone and hope to resolve this matter promptly.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Instacart. My family has strict dietary needs due to allergies and a budget to maintain. Unfortunately, every order has been problematic, with unauthorized replacements causing significant issues. Recently, I ordered $30 worth of wine (four inexpensive bottles), and instead received $[redacted] worth (four $25 average bottles) without my consent. Given our debilitating autoimmune conditions, returning these items amidst the current Covid-19 situation is not feasible, putting our health at risk. Instacart's lack of response to our numerous inquiries is disappointing. The level of service we have experienced is unacceptable, and I urge them to rectify these errors promptly.

Marvin H. Hunter [redacted] West Oxford Lane Gilbert, AZ [redacted] April 5, [redacted] Carlos Borbolla Vice President, Customer Services 7 West Seventh Street Cincinnati, OH [redacted] [redacted] Dear Mr. Borbolla, I have been a loyal customer of Macy's since [redacted] and have always had a positive experience. However, I am reaching out to request your assistance with a goodwill adjustment regarding a late payment reported to the credit agencies in [redacted]. As a volunteer minister with the Marvin H. Hunter Ministry, supporting various causes globally and locally, maintaining good credit is essential for my nonprofit work. In June [redacted], while on a mission in Africa with limited internet access, I encountered challenges making my Macy's payment online. Despite my efforts, weak signals prevented successful transactions through the website or over the phone. Upon returning, I contacted Macy's customer service seeking forgiveness for the delayed payment, but unfortunately did not receive a resolution. Since then, I have consistently paid on time and this late payment remains the sole blemish on my credit history. Given my consistent payment record over the past two years, I kindly request that Macy's consider removing this late payment from my credit report as a gesture of goodwill. I value our relationship and the exceptional service Macy's provides, and I hope for a positive resolution to this matter that accurately reflects my creditworthiness. I appreciate your attention to this request and look forward to your response. Sincerely, Marvin H. Hunter

I am currently experiencing a major problem with a fraud alert on my account. The inability to speak with a live representative is frustrating, as the automated system disconnects me constantly. To improve this situation, please consider providing a phone number when implementing a fraud alert. If a phone number is unavailable, refrain from placing the alert on the account. At present, American Express is unable to assist me due to the lack of a contact number associated with the alert. Such service issues are incredibly disappointing.

Hello, I'm Kyle Eigenman. I recently noticed a charge on my USAA credit card for a credit report from Experian on April 8th. I am concerned that my credit card and social security number may have been used fraudulently. I did not authorize this transaction with Experian, and I believe someone may be misusing my information. I have already informed my credit card company and would like more information on why this credit report was run without my knowledge or consent. Thank you.

I am struggling to lift the credit freeze temporarily. After completing the form, I received a letter saying the information does not match their records. I suspect a security breach as I need to resolve this promptly to apply for an SBS PPP loan. When I attempted to log in, my password failed. Upon requesting a reset, the email stated my username is [redacted], which is incorrect.

Your customer service is incredibly difficult to reach. I've been on hold for an hour, and the last representative I spoke with had such a poor phone connection that I couldn't understand her. I need someone to contact me regarding my and my husband's credit reports. The information is incorrect since the same credit info has been put on both reports, even though they should differ. This is highly problematic as my husband has good credit, but I'm the one with the poor credit history. We do not have any outstanding loans, house payments, second mortgages, or car loans. It's essential to correct this error promptly. My husband signed up with your service, not me, and his account reflects timely payments, which is accurate. Please refrain from sharing this inaccurate information with other companies.

I canceled my membership 4 months ago, yet I have been charged $31.75 monthly on the 8th despite not being a member. Upon logging in immediately after canceling, I verified my membership was indeed terminated. Today, I received a notification of another $31.75 charge on my credit card. I called #[redacted] and followed the prompts to speak with a representative. Despite inputting my Social Security number as requested, I was informed I did not have an active membership, yet the charges persist. I am seeking guidance on how to stop these recurring charges on my credit card.

I discovered a way to contact Experian, which might help you during these challenging times. You can reach them at 1-[redacted] from Monday to Friday between 10AM and 6PM EST. To speak to an agent, provide the necessary information (SSN), and then follow the prompts 2,1,2,1. Due to the current situation, Experian seems to have disabled the option for customers to speak to a live representative, regardless of their subscription status. Despite trying the regular number at [redacted] and the disputes department at [redacted], I've been unsuccessful in reaching a human or the disputes team. When calling, you will listen to a sales pitch, enter your SSN, and then encounter only prerecorded messages with limited options that do not lead to speaking with a real person. Even after selecting different options like membership, billing, or logging help, they all end with a prerecorded message followed by a hang-up. Option 2 provides general prerecorded information.

I only needed the membership for 30 days as my lawyer required a copy of my credit report for my Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I tried to cancel it yesterday but noticed I was charged $19.99. I urgently need this money for a counseling course related to my bankruptcy. Please refund the charge and cancel my account. I do not anticipate needing any credit reports for the next five years due to my court-managed debt repayment plan. I usually access my free annual credit report in September each year. My social security number is [redacted]-76-[redacted]. For further communication, please reach me at [redacted] Your prompt assistance in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Stella D. Stephens.

In October [redacted], I missed a loan payment to Workers Credit Union due to a technical error during an online transaction. Even though I made two payments in November [redacted] after being notified by the credit union, the missed payment negatively impacted my credit score by approximately [redacted] points. Despite the credit union agreeing to remove the late payment notification, it still shows on my credit report, hindering my ability to access credit. I would appreciate it if you could assist in contacting Workers Credit Union to rectify this issue and adjust my credit report accordingly. Thank you for your help in this matter. Sincerely, Henry A.
