Get help with getting a new password so I can access my account. ... I have been trying to call Experian for two bloody days to no avail. The ONE time I got a human, he sent a link for my password re-set which NEVER came to my email. Same result more than * times when I tried as he said my account had been locked. There is no way to talk to a damned person. I have wasted over an hour the past two days trying to talk to someone. Meanwhile, Experian has no problem charging me monthly for watching my credit score and I cannot access the account because I forgot my password. Why is this so bloody DIFFICULT????????? I want an answer and I want it now. I need to get access to my credit score which I'm being charged monthly for and should be able to access. Ms Lark Logan
There's no human connection. The one time I did somehow get a human, the information given to me was incorrect in terms of option prompts. Plus, they sent a link to re-set my password to my email and I never received the link. This is where the nightmare began.
Experian can make this right by having REAL LIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE like any GOOD business would have.
I have been with Experian for nearly * years without an issue. I find it reprehensible you cannot immediately get human customer service when needed. This incident was the first time I ever needed such assistance.
How GetHuman-nyntv fixed the problem
The prompts that are given are incorrect. I think the prompt I wound up selecting was option * thought it had nothing to do with the reason I was calling (which was to get a password update so I could access my account). This option connected me to a human. The reason it took nearly * days was because the * human I did get kept giving me incorrect option choice which was "choose option * than choose option *. Well option * NEVER allowed me to get to option *. It automatically said it will send a link to my email and disconnected the call. To make matters worse, I never received the link, and this is where the chaos began. Dealing with Experian is a nightmare. I like the services offered but I suggest: store your user name and password in a safe place where you can get to it if you forget because if you do, it's **** to get it rectified.
