My Experience Calling Eero at this Number

I'm used to spending hours on the phone waiting to talk to a customer service agent when I call my Internet provider, so I didn't have high expectations when I called Eero. My Internet extender wasn't working properly suddenly, and I had no idea of where to begin troubleshooting the issue. All I knew was that the Internet was running slow in my home office and that it had been temporarily fixed by Eero. I put the phone call off until my lunch break and got in the queue prepared to wait an hour. 

It was a pleasant surprise to be greeted by a recorded message asking me to wait or a customer representative. There wasn't a lengthy phone map to maneuver to get to someone who could help me. Just the simple instruction to stay on the line until someone was available to help me. I turned my phone's speaker on and went to unpack my lunch while I waited. I barely had the lid off my water bottle and my sandwich unwrapped when the agent picked up the phone. 

When I glanced at my phone I had only been on it for about three minutes which was pretty remarkable. The agent who answered was knowledgeable and took down my basic information to find my account. They then led me through a basic set of troubleshooting steps that I could do from the comfort of my home office. It took about ten minutes but we were able to identify the issue, which was easily rectified. Before I hung up the phone my Internet was working at high speeds again and I had a newfound respect for Internet companies. It turns out that some of them can be helpful on the phone! 

While I recognize that some phone calls might be more involved than mine, it was nice to receive great customer service from a phone rep that was friendly and knowledgeable. They were clear when they walked me through the steps and were easy to understand. Of course, if I needed new equipment or if the troubleshooting process failed I may have had to wait for someone to come to my home, so then I might not have been as pleased.
