How does Eero work?

Asked 7 months ago
Eero is a mesh Wi-Fi system that works by distributing multiple access points throughout your home or space. These access points, called Eero nodes, communicate with each other to create a seamless and robust Wi-Fi network. When you connect an Eero node to your existing modem, it becomes the primary router and gets the network up and running. Additional Eero nodes can then be placed strategically around your home to extend the coverage. Eero nodes communicate with each other using a dedicated wireless backhaul, ensuring a strong and reliable connection in every corner of your space. By working together, they form a single network with the same SSID, allowing your devices to automatically connect to the strongest signal without any interruptions. This intelligent system optimizes your Wi-Fi performance, eliminating dead zones and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted connectivity.
