On ******** , I booked a return flight for my wife, myself and another couple from Luton to Palermo flying ******* ref. EW*BZH*. I got the passport *st name of one of our companions wrong and * hour after the booking, I went online to correct it. I was staggered to learn ( confirmed verbally by phone to your helpdesk) that to make the name correction, there was an extra charge of £** ! *This was not a passenger change. No human being was involved in making the simple correction for flights more than * months distant ! *We have been regular users of Easyjet over *** years and have always found them to have reasonable practices for travel, charges and service -way ahead of other low cost carriers like Ryanair. This , however, is blatant example of a money grabbing practice- totally unjustified relative to the cost incurred. I am seriously disappointed.
