On Monday * July I travelled from Gatwick North to Rome Flumincino on *:** flight, I had a cabin bag but could not take it onboard as had toiletries in it so a very helpful Easyjet representative put the bag through as ‘Go hands free’ & I was charged £*, I was happy with this. However when I boarded the flight there were too many cabin bags taken onboard to be put in the overhead lockers & several were put in the hold at no charge to the passengers concerned which seemed a bit unfair.*On my return on Friday ** July I arrived at Rome Flumincino for my return **:** flight to Gatwick. I had the same luggage & was dismayed to be charged £** for my cabin bag to be put in the hold, I felt this was extortionate for a small bag & could understand if it was a large suitcase.
GetHuman943429 did not yet indicate what Easyjet should do to make this right.
