My flight from Luton to Marseille (EZY****) on sunday **th June was cancelled due to a French Air Traffic Control strike. I was due to fly back from marseille on **nd June. The earliest flight available after **th June was on wednesday **th June which would have meant only having one days holiday so it wasn't worth going. Easy Jet have refunded the cancelled outward flight from Luton but not the flight back. with car parking and hotel reservations as well as the cost of rebooking for a later date I am out of pocket by over £***. Before they will consider paying out for my losses, the insurance company have asked for an email from easy jet stating there were no flights within a reasonable time of the cancelled flight that I could have caught.
