I had a similar experience. When checking my balance, it was much lower due to about $[redacted] taken out by Apple with a fake [redacted] number. Despite informing a customer service representative and being assured that no more funds would be withdrawn, Apple.com continued to deduct almost $[redacted] more by the following Monday. Although I explained the situation to the fraud department as advised, they rejected my claim without providing a reason, even after an unsuccessful appeal. One agent suggested contacting the local police. This ordeal left me struggling financially, eventually leading to eviction and homelessness for almost three months. Despite being promised protection from further deductions, Apple continued to withdraw funds unchecked, leaving me without a resolution or reimbursement.

I still haven't received my Direct Express card, and it's been over two weeks. After numerous phone calls, waiting over 30 minutes on hold five times today, and finally getting through to customer service, I explained my issue only to be put on hold again. Then, I was given the choice to participate in a survey or press pound to disconnect, and after all that time invested, the call ended abruptly. Frustrating experience!

I am uncertain about my recent orders. I purchased a 23-piece cookware set and a chair, but I have not received them. The payments were deducted from my card. In early June, I faced issues paying my rent, leading to extra charges. This caused me financial strain, and after reporting possible fraudulent charges, my account was frozen. I have reached out to the Dispute Resolution Department and sent back the necessary paperwork for their investigation with tracking number 1-[redacted]. I am awaiting a refund of $77.96. I have since opened a new checking account but am hesitant to share the details given recent troubles. I prefer any owed money be directed to my active card ending in [redacted]. I will provide my email for follow-up but plan to delete it soon. Unfortunately, I am considering ending my association with your company after this ordeal. I recently took a survey from Walmart for a Tyson handheld portable vacuum after paying the $6.95 shipping fee using my debit card. Unexpectedly, I received an email stating an additional charge of $39.99 for a sweepstakes entry. I feel misled as there was no mention of this extra charge during the initial transaction. I'm on a fixed income due to disability and cannot afford such expenses. I kindly request to have this $39.99 charge blocked and refunded to my account.

My mother, Paula Bacon, is currently being exploited by my brother, Donald Bacon, who was entrusted with her care. Unfortunately, he has relocated and is maliciously using her personal information to make unauthorized purchases and disrupt her finances. My mother relies on the money that is deposited into her card monthly for her livelihood. Despite my efforts to address this issue by attempting to contact various parties through phone calls, emails, and involving other family members, I have been unable to resolve the situation or speak to anyone who can assist. As the oldest son and now caregiver of Paula Bacon, I am deeply concerned about the ongoing theft and fraud committed by my brother. I urgently seek help and intervention to put an end to these deceptive actions and safeguard my mother's well-being.

I recently received a call from Direct Express regarding potential unusual activity on my card. They asked if I wanted my card blocked, and I agreed. My Social Security Disability payments were temporarily sent to Direct Express instead of my MidFirst bank account while I updated the information. I contacted Direct Express to unblock my account but was unable to receive the necessary code as it was being sent to my outdated Juno email address. I requested the code to be sent to my current email address at GMX, but they insisted on sending it to the old address. Now I'm unable to access my funds. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I recently bought an Apple Gift Card at Walmart, but when I tried to use it, the balance was zero. I was charged $[redacted] for the card, which I paid for with my Direct Express card as I receive SSI. I want to dispute this transaction from the Walmart on Zero Street. The total purchase was $[redacted].17, with $2.17 being for a soda I bought. However, the main issue is the $[redacted] charge for the Apple Gift Card that had no value when I tried to use it in the Apple store for my iPhone SE's iCloud data. I didn't receive what I paid for. I attempted to make my storage building payment online, a process I have done every month since October [redacted]. However, this time the payment did not go through, and I received a message instructing me to contact my card issuer to resolve the issue. Despite my efforts to reach out through calls and chats with Direct Express issued by CoMerica Bank, I have been unable to connect with anyone to resolve this problem. In October, I managed to make the first payment of $55 for one building, but when I attempted to pay the $45 for the next building, my payment was declined. This situation has led to late fees, which I cannot afford on my fixed income. The challenges I have faced with accessing my funds and resolving issues with Direct Express have become increasingly frustrating. After being a customer since [redacted], I am now considering switching to a different banking account due to these ongoing problems.

On July 2, [redacted], I discovered a fraudulent charge of $[redacted].50 on my USDirectexpress debit card, which is my entire SSA retirement income for July. Reporting the theft led to long wait times and disconnections, causing frustration. Although I managed to cancel the card linked to the theft, I was informed that the charge needed to "settle" before filing a claim. Despite numerous attempts since July 8th, calls keep dropping without resolution. Reaching out through various channels like Facebook and Twitter did not yield a chat option for assistance. This situation is severe as it impacts my ability to pay bills, utilities, and essential expenses. I urgently require my funds back, as this issue is preventing me from meeting crucial financial obligations such as healthcare and auto insurance. The lack of access to my funds is severely impeding my daily life. I urge USDirectexpress to address this matter promptly.

I have been trying to report my lost or stolen Direct Express card since 08/[redacted]. Despite multiple calls to Direct Express, I am unable to make progress due to the automated system asking for the security code on the back of the card, which I cannot provide since the card is lost. I urgently require a new card to be sent to my new address at an assisted living facility. Additionally, I need a statement to ensure my money is secure as my social security check is deposited onto this card. Unfortunately, the system does not offer the option to speak to a representative and disconnects when it requests the security code I don't have.

I have not received my disability funds on my Debit Express card for the months of February, March, April, May, June, or July. I reside at Athens Way, Nashville, TN. I have attempted to contact SSA but have not been able to reach anyone. Disability funds are my only source of income as I suffer from complications related to MS and injuries from being hit by a car twice. I have various physical issues including neurological damage, pinched nerves, and muscle spasms. Despite checking my card balance, the missing funds for the last deposits are not reflecting. I had $17.00 on my Direct Express debit card, but when I checked this morning, I only had $0.21 left. There are unauthorized purchases for Google Garena Mobile and Google Garena Mobile International on my account, totaling $17.00. I have tried contacting Google about these purchases, but as my Direct Express card is linked to my old email account, I have not been successful. I also attempted to reach Direct Express customer service without success. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue. I need to request a new debit card as the automated customer service system informed me of my expiring card this month. Despite being unable to speak with a Direct Express customer service representative, I experienced a similar issue four years ago which required two visits to the SSA office to resolve. An expedited delivery was necessary. Concerned about my identity theft history, I am unable to report the undelivered card to Direct Express, even after updating my address in March [redacted]. My Direct Express account on the website is linked to an email that no longer exists. I now use a new email address. The old email linked to my account is [redacted], and my new email is [redacted] I need to update my account with the new email as the previous one is no longer valid. I am a single mom who relies on my SSI and SSDI benefits loaded onto my Direct Express card. On July 2, [redacted], $[redacted].00 was taken from my SSDI account in multiple $3.99 transactions. I have been in touch with the fraud department, who canceled my old card and sent me a new one. After receiving a dispute package, I filled out the necessary paperwork, faxing 19 pages to them. Despite their assurance that the money would be returned to my account, it has not yet happened. I've been trying to contact them for days, even being on hold for over 3 hours, and the issue persists. I am now being faced with my vehicle being impounded due to the delay in getting my money back. I urgently need their assistance in resolving this matter as I am in a difficult financial situation as a single parent.

I was informed that my Direct Express card was supposed to be mailed on 6/29, but it has not arrived yet. I need to confirm with the Social Security Administration that they have contacted Direct Express and that the card is being sent to: Lasting Hope Recovery Center [redacted] South 25th Avenue Omaha, NE [redacted] Social Security mentioned that they have already sent a consent form to Direct Express. While I was at Lasting Hope, I authorized my case worker (at the inpatient psychiatric hospital) to receive your response via email. If you can be reached by phone, please provide a contact number so we can call you urgently. This matter is time-sensitive. I have been on hold for hours and completely ignored; my money is missing and I feel unprotected. I recently removed my mom as the payee due to Alzheimer’s, and since then, I have not been able to get any help with my SSI payments even after receiving a new card. Despite being told my money was pending, I cannot get a clear answer and have been left sitting on hold for hours without assistance. I have called multiple times but have not received proper support or respect. As a person going through financial challenges and struggling with mental health issues, I deserve the protection from fraud just like anyone else. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of communication and assistance I have received and feel neglected and ignored by the service provider. I made an online purchase but never received a confirmation receipt. I sensed an issue and noticed the pending amount for the product. I contacted customer service immediately, within 15 minutes of the purchase, to halt the payment, but they refused. Despite my request to report the card as lost or stolen, they insisted the charge would still go through. Even though the product was only $15, I persisted. Upon receiving the product without any receipt or contact information, I tried reaching out to Rachel Ray, the product creator, with no success. Reading blogs on her website, I discovered others were scammed into unauthorized subscriptions with additional charges of $[redacted] after receiving the product. My efforts to contact Direct Express have been unsuccessful as I've been unable to progress beyond the second step due to a maintenance message prompting me to call back later. I urgently need to report my card as lost or stolen.

I have been experiencing the same issue. I have been trying to reach a customer service representative for weeks, but every time I call, the automated system claims there are heavy call volumes and disconnects the call. This happens at all hours, even at 2 am. It is incredibly frustrating that I can't get through to anyone. I hope they can improve their phone service so we can resolve our issues. It would be great if they could also provide online options for account management while we wait for a new card or need to transfer funds. Having to call and deal with the automated system for every little thing is beyond frustrating.
