I recently purchased the DIRECTV Plus AT&T Internet *** package from Costco on *********, Acct * *********. At the time of purchase, I was informed that I could get up to four (*) Genie boxes at the same time with the installation*activation fee waived. I was also informed that if I had Smart TV's that I could get one (*) Genie box with DVR (my request) and stream the DIRECTV programming on my Smart tv's. The Genie * DVR was installed successfully on ********* and the Internet was installed on ********. neither the tech nor I could successfully install the DIRECTV app on the smart tv's and after some time, it was determined that feature was no longer or not available. This was contrary to what I was told*sold on *********. Between ********* and the present, I have called several DIRECTV numbers for customer service to see if I could have two (*) Genie receivers installed that had been offered on the original offer, *********, without the installation * activation fee of $**. I have been put on HOLD and transferred to multiple service, technical and loyalty departments and spent greater that * hours on the phone with no resolution as of this time. I even revisited the sales person who attempted to have the issue resolved, unsuccessfully, on ********. **My request for assistance is simple. I would like to have the two (*) Genie receivers installed that I had been offered with the original sale without the installation*activation fee. I understand that I will still pay the monthly fee for each receiver however, I feel that I should not have to pay a fee for the installation* activation of the boxes that would have been waived if the sales and tech staff had been better informed at the time of the original purchase.

I had to go to the social media page, Facebook, and post on Messenger the issue. I was then routed to a Live CHAT that the agent was able to resolve the issue where others in the CHAT were not.
