I have called Direct TV * times in the last * weeks in regards to subscribing, installation, missed appointments, and now incorrect billing. My installation window was ignored on * different dates- no calls- no apologies. When installation finally did show on the third scheduled date- they did the classic bait and switch telling me I had to have wireless or they were basically going to drill holes in my hardwood floor and my sheet rock walls- and the cable wire would run up my wall and across my ceiling. I was clear that I did not want to endure additional costs- I was told by the technician that there was no additional costs by getting the "genie". ** minutes later- I was asked to speak to his supervisor who then informed me there would be a $** one time cost and installation fee. I informed her I would call one of the * managers that I had spoken to over the past * weeks- as I was promised a no installation*equipment fee. My *st bill arrived- and there are multiple charges that I did not agree to. I also signed up for automatic billing for a monthly discount of $*.**- again, not on my bill. A $**.** credit for bundling is also not present on my bill. In addition - I was told that an LG phone would arrive within * days of placing my order- I still have not received it. I was also told that I was receiving a $*** visa card- again, I have yet to receive that as part of the promotion in which I signed up for. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of customer care or service. I have spent a minimum of ** hours over multiple calls trying to rectify ongoing issues- all within the first month of being a customer. I do not feel that this level of aggravation is worthy of the service provided (lack of)- and i feel that there has been deliberate misrepresentation of products and services to just "get the sale". I am looking at different cable and internet providers and expect full reimbursement from Direct TV for any costs that I shall incur.
