Help with my DirecTV issue

The issue in GetHuman-fvetter's own words
I cancelled my service on *******. Was told I would get instructions*box to return equipment, and would have a certain time to return before being charged for equipment. Never got instructions or anything else. I attempted to call DirecTV today, finally got through your automated system (after several minutes) to a human who was unable to help me but transferred to someone else (after holding for several more minutes) who was also unable to help me but put me on hold again to transfer me to a third person. After several more minutes of waiting I got a message saying my "wait time" would be at least eight minutes. I hung up! My "wait time" is over! If you want your equipment back you can send me a box with prepaid address label. I will not be responsible for the time it takes to return it. I will NOT attempt to contact you by phone again.*My account* is (was) ********

GetHuman-fvetter did not yet indicate what DirecTV should do to make this right.
