I recently received an email notification from Chegg stating that my rentals of "Beloved" and "The Infinite Blacktop" were marked as "overdue." I am certain that I returned all my rented books, including the mentioned titles, back in May of last year. In one convenient shipment, I carefully packaged "The Big Sleep," "Under the Feet of Jesus," "The Woman Warrior," "Beloved," and "The Infinite Blacktop" in the same Chegg box and sent them off via FedEx. I am perplexed about how these two books ended up missing, as they were sent back in the same package as the rest of my rentals. Could there be an issue with Chegg's system, or was there a mishap with the return shipment?

I rented the book "Training & Development (Subscription) (2nd)" on a one-time basis for my finals, but unbeknownst to me, it had an automatic renewal for $10.99 per month. I have now noticed multiple charges on my account for this book that I intended to use only once. I stopped using Chegg after last semester and was unaware of the ongoing subscription linked to the textbook. I haven't even opened the book since last November. I feel frustrated by the auto-renewal feature that was not clear to me when I rented the book. My account email is [redacted]

I ordered 4 college textbooks for my son on January 20th and received 3 of them on January 22nd. "Statistics in Context" was supposed to be here by January 25th but has still not arrived. The tracking number #[redacted][redacted][redacted] shows it reached Morrow, GA on the 22nd and then stopped. When I enter the tracking number, it says information is currently unavailable. If tracking remains unavailable after 3 days, I need to contact the shipper. This textbook was one of the more expensive rentals. If you can't deliver the book soon, we might need to cancel that part of the order and find another distributor. I believe you should cover the shipping costs and offer a discount for the inconvenience of this delay. My son is falling behind on his homework since there was no ebook option available until the physical book arrived. What can be done to resolve this situation?

I have some questions that I hope you can clarify for me: 1. Are the individuals answering questions experts in scientific subjects, providing accurate answers, or are they students who may give unreliable information? 2. Are all the answers on the website from experts or are there responses from students that may not be trustworthy? 3. How many questions am I allowed to ask subject matter experts each month with my subscription? 4. What if I need to ask more than 20 questions a month? 5. Can I use a prepaid card as my primary payment method? I plan to subscribe today and would appreciate a good discount for the first month. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I was charged for a Chegg subscription this month and would like to request a refund for the transaction. I initially tried Chegg in October [redacted] to find answers for my assignments at the graduate level, but as it didn't meet my expectations, I discontinued using the service. Since then, I haven't used Chegg's services, and I was surprised to see this recent charge on my account. I do not intend to continue using Chegg as it doesn't cater to my field. I need to cancel my Chegg basic subscription. Unfortunately, I can't access my account because the email linked to it is [redacted] The problem is that Yahoo automatically redirects emails to [redacted] when I try to log in. I've tried removing the .au, but it doesn't work. It seems like the code is sent to the email without the .au, which I can't access. I'd appreciate it if you could help me change my email or bypass the code to log in. Thank you.

I mistakenly created and purchased two subscriptions in May [redacted]. Subscription 1: Email: [redacted] Payment: Paypal - I can access the account - I can access the associated email - I can access the payment account used - I am satisfied with Chegg's services. Subscription 2: Email: unknown Payment: Card (Monzo Bank) - I cannot access the account - I do not know the email used - I can access the payment account (Monzo Card) - Subscription has been active since May [redacted] unknowingly. I am seeking assistance in identifying the accidentally purchased account. It has been inactive for a year. I am requesting a refund as the service was unused and I was unaware of the additional charge from the second account. Unfortunately, I entered an email address I no longer remember and cannot access.

I am encountering difficulties accessing the Chegg site as it is indicating that my access has been denied due to the suspicion of automated tools being used to log in and browse. The message suggests checking JavaScript settings and cookies, but upon inspection, both are working correctly. I recently received an email from Chegg concerning a potential violation of their Terms of Use. The email mentioned that my Chegg Study subscription has been deactivated due to account information being shared. Chegg stated they are investigating and will provide a final decision within 48 hours. Upon reviewing the devices linked to my account, I discovered unauthorized access. It seems someone else has been using my account without my consent, possibly due to a hack. I request assistance on the necessary steps to address this issue. Thank you.

I used my mobile to log in and received an email stating that my Chegg account was suspended for breaching the Terms of Use by sharing account details. As a consequence, my Chegg Study subscription linked to my email has been deactivated. They mentioned they would review my account and provide a final decision via email within 48 hours. However, it has been four days, and I have yet to hear from them.

Since November [redacted], I have been charged monthly, even though I haven't used the service. I am reaching out to request a refund for December through March. I understand I am not entitled to this refund, but as I rely on each $15 incidental purchase and mistakenly didn't cancel the subscription, I kindly ask for your understanding. Refunding the $60 would greatly help me out. If possible, even just refunding this month's charge would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have been attempting to cancel my account for over two years. Despite multiple attempts to "unsubscribe," I have been continuously charged. It seems there might be confusion with multiple active accounts. I request the closure of all accounts associated with my name and credit card, particularly the one ending in [redacted]. I have been trying to end my subscriptions since December [redacted] and wish to cease all charges. It appears I have been charged $14.95 for potentially 15 months totaling $[redacted].25. I used your services for many years, but it's time to discontinue. The recurring charges persist and I need them to stop immediately.

I recently purchased a book from Chegg using the ISBN [redacted]-0-[redacted]4-3 for "Recognizing Race and Ethnicity: Power, Privilege, and Inequality" by Kathleen J. Fitzgerald, 3rd Edition, but received the 2nd Edition instead. I need the correct edition for my accelerated 8-week class. When I try to reorder using the ISBN provided, the website still shows the 2nd Edition at checkout. I will return the incorrect book promptly. I urgently require the 3rd Edition, so I appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this issue.

Hello, I'm Saron Russom. I've been struggling with Chegg's customer service for two years regarding my account, [redacted], linked to my school email [redacted]. Since graduating, I've been unable to access the account to cancel it as the school locked me out. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, they have failed to close the account and stop the monthly charges of $11. These total to approximately $[redacted] since May [redacted]. Hello Chegg support team, I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out about an issue I am facing with my Chegg Study subscription. Recently, my subscription was automatically canceled, although I did not initiate this cancellation. When I tried to resubscribe, I encountered errors during the payment process, preventing me from completing the subscription. I attempted to create a new account and opted for the $14.95 subscription, but later realized I wanted the $19.95 subscription. However, when I tried to switch, I encountered errors once again. Subsequently, I attempted to create a new account, but the same errors persisted. To add to this, I received an SMS alert about a credit card transaction on April 7, [redacted], which I did not authorize. To Chegg, I am struggling to access my textbook and log into my account. Every time I log in, I receive an error message. I even changed my password, which briefly resolved the issue before signing me out again after five minutes. This has been going on for a week now, and I have urgent homework to complete that requires access to my textbook. During the short window when I could access the textbook, the website was stuck in a loading loop, alternating between two URLs. I tried to break the loop without success. None of the FAQs has provided a solution to this specific problem. Please refrain from sending me a generic response directing me to the FAQs, as it has not been helpful. The message asking to confirm being human is causing issues with DAbot. When trying to log in, it prevents access with a notification saying automated tools are being used. To resolve this, enable Javascript and cookies, avoid browser extensions that may block content, and ensure cookies are supported by the browser. Despite being able to log in after receiving an email code, each login prompts for a new code. Additionally, upon refreshing the page or navigating to different sections, it logs out automatically, requiring repeated logins.
