On April 14th, I purchased a study pack from Chegg for $19.35 CAD. I am certain this charge was made to my email [redacted] A week later, when I tried to sign in to Chegg using the same email, it said the account didn't exist. After registering again with the same email and password, it created a new account without my study pack. I am disappointed to see I am being charged nearly $20 monthly for a subscription I don't have. I seek a refund for the May 14th, [redacted] charge as I only wanted the study pack for April and couldn't cancel the non-existent subscription.

I applied to become a CHEGG Q&A EXPERT on May 19, [redacted]. I am a medical student in my 3rd year of MBBS studies. When selecting the subject, I was unable to find Anatomy & Physiology as stated in CHEGG's FAQ, so I chose Biology. However, I found that I lacked interest in the subject (even though I passed the Q&A round but failed the guidelines test) and wanted to switch to a different subject where I could give my best effort. Unfortunately, I could not find the option to change the subject or cancel my account successfully. Now, when I tried to access CHEGG again, I received a message stating "you are not allowed to access chegg-expert-hiring." I simply wanted to change the subject to align with my interests, which was not my fault due to the missing subject on the site's FAQ. I kindly request your assistance and guidance regarding my account.

I am reaching out regarding two books I returned but am now being charged for. The first book, "Community Justice" with the ISBN [redacted]76, order number #AQW9AETC, is being charged to purchase. The second book, "COSO Enterprise Risk Management" with the ISBN [redacted]88X, order number #R1EY5UKN, is still incurring rental fees. I believe these books were returned as usual. As a long-time loyal customer of Chegg, I have a history of returning books on time. It seems there may have been an issue with the check-in process at your end. I rely on renting books from Chegg due to financial constraints and cannot afford to buy these books. I kindly request assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

I sent back my book in April, and according to tracking information, it was delivered on April 29, [redacted]. However, I keep receiving emails stating that the book has not been returned, and I am at risk of being charged a fee on June 11, [redacted]. The FedEx tracking number for the delivery is [redacted]80. I have made several phone calls but have been on hold for extended periods without receiving any assistance. I am concerned about the late fee being applied. Thank you. - H. Saunders

Hi Chegg Support Team,
I have an account in your system with the following details:
- Name: Marilyn Meza
- Email: [redacted]
I initially signed up with my university email address but have graduated in December [redacted]. As I no longer have access to my university email, I am unable to remember my password and log in to my Chegg account. I am uncertain if my account is still logged in on any other devices and would like to ensure my privacy as I no longer require this service.
When I attempted to request the deletion of my account via email, I was directed to fill out a "data deletion" form. I have completed the form but am unable to proceed with the final step of confirmation via email due to the lack of access to my university email account.
I kindly request your assistance in deleting my account.
Thank you,
Marilyn Meza

Hello,
I wanted to address an issue with a recent Chegg account creation. My sister mistakenly used my email to create a new account, resulting in unnecessary charges to my card. Despite already having two accounts, she couldn't access them and created a new one under my credit card. This led to a charge of $28.19. As a student managing two accounts, having an extra one charged to my card without a purpose is a financial burden. I kindly request a refund for the amount deducted from my account as the additional account serves no purpose for us. I have already cancelled the membership to avoid further charges. Your assistance in resolving this matter and processing the refund would be greatly appreciated. The username associated with the account she created is: [redacted] If possible, I would like to be contacted regarding this issue at [redacted] Thank you for your understanding and support.

I rented multiple books from Chegg for the previous college semester. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was away from home for three weeks, unable to access my email or Chegg account. Consequently, I missed the due date for returning the books, resulting in being charged the full price plus rental fees. Upon realizing the oversight, I am reaching out to inquire if it is still possible to return the books and receive a full refund, considering the extenuating circumstances of my absence. My absence was due to a family emergency - the passing of my grandmother- and I hope for understanding in having the additional charges refunded to my account.

Hello, this is Jake from Tampa, the sole owner of this account. I received a notification about "unusual activity" that led to my suspension. I'm puzzled about how IP addresses were used to flag this activity. I split my time between two residences and frequently travel for studies, so I connect through different ISPs with distinct IP addresses. I feel unfairly targeted by your system, leading to my second unwarranted suspension. It's crucial to consider that some clients, like myself, maintain multiple residences and ISPs. I urge you to reevaluate and reinstate my account as there is insufficient proof of any account sharing. I've had recurring issues with your service, and I hope this matter can be resolved promptly.

I am having trouble accessing my account. I recently purchased a new computer as my previous one was lost. Upon attempting to log in, I encountered an issue stating that I have reached the device limit. When attempting to switch devices, I am prompted for two-step authentication, which is sending the code to an old email address I no longer have access to. Despite using a current email for my account, the code is being sent to the outdated email.
This has led to difficulties in accessing my account and viewing my subscription details, resulting in undesired charges. I am unable to manage my subscription or access essential account functions.
I kindly request assistance in deleting my account, canceling my subscription, and halting any further charges. My email associated with the account is [redacted]

Hello, I currently have two Chegg accounts and would like to deactivate one of them. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the email address I used for the first account. I do know the email address I used for the second account. I am hoping that you can assist me in identifying the email address associated with the first account using the payment information since both accounts are paid for with the same card. I have exhausted all other options to retrieve the first email address, as I did not provide a backup email during account creation. Your help in finding and deactivating the first email address is greatly appreciated. The email address for the second account is [redacted] I believe the incorrect email "[redacted]" is associated with the first account. I apologize for any inconvenience and thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hello,
I am Robert Neubert. A few weeks ago, I returned two overdue textbooks on my account. One textbook I had bought from Chegg and then returned as I had lost it instead of paying the fee. Currently, it shows that they did not receive the "Lab Manual in Physical Geology," while the other book, a different geology textbook, was received. I sent both back in the same box, so I'm unsure what happened. I hope to avoid being charged for a book I returned. Apologies for the confusion.
Thank you,
Rob Neubert

I made a purchase on Chegg for a book with an expected delivery date of the 27th. However, my circumstances have changed, and I now have access to the book online from my teacher. I attempted to cancel the order, but was informed that I must wait for it to arrive and then return it for a refund. I am now concerned as it has not even been shipped yet, and I would like to know if there is an updated delivery date. I want to ensure that I have ample time to return the book once it arrives and receive my refund. My order number is 9RR3P9TA.

I have been charged $14.95 by Chegg, despite not having a college student in over 2 years. It seems to be coming from either my daughter Abbey B. or my son Max B.'s accounts. The charges go to my Discover card every month. Abbey's account shows the subscription was canceled in [redacted], but I can't recall my son's login details. I have the transaction code from my card: CHEGG ORDER [redacted] CA. The charges started on 9/27/19 and the latest was on August 28, [redacted]. This is undesired as the service isn't utilized. I need this to cease billing my card and seek guidance on resolving this. Thank you.

I have canceled a subscription linked to the email: [redacted], yet I am still being charged £14.99 monthly. When I check the Chegg website, it shows my payment history as empty with no subscriptions, which seems unfair. The subscription was meant for a one-time use, so I canceled it promptly once I was done, yet I've been charged for at least 4 months without using it. I'm in the UK, and the payments are deducted from bank account ending in [redacted]8, sort code 51-81-41. Please stop the payments from this account and ensure the subscription is canceled as I'm unable to do it myself.

I have requested the deletion of two URLs on my privacy portal due to honor code violations. While one question was successfully removed, the other remains. Despite contacting customer service twice, I have not received a clear explanation for this issue. I was informed that students cannot directly communicate with the content removal team. The request ID indicates that both deletions should have been completed, but I did not receive an email notification for the first deletion. I attempted to reach out to the IT team for clarification but was advised against it. Although I have deleted the original account associated with the question, I am unable to request the deletion of the second URL. It appears that there is a discrepancy in the data deletion process as the second question still remains unresolved.

I am encountering two issues with Chegg that are quite frustrating. Firstly, the solutions provided by the 'experts' are frequently incorrect, despite the subscription fee of $22 per month that should guarantee reliable help. This consistent inaccuracy is disappointing as I have subscribed multiple times, expecting better quality work each time, but to no avail. My academic needs are not being met.
Secondly, using Chegg on both my phone and laptop, or even across different tabs, results in receiving numerous verification codes, significantly limiting my productivity and causing delays.
I am requesting a refund and the permanent deletion of my account and all associated information from Chegg at the earliest convenience.

I have completed my studies and no longer require the use of Chegg. However, in the past couple of weeks during my exams, I encountered an issue where I couldn't log into my Chegg account. The error message "unexpected error please try again later" appeared consistently, preventing me from accessing the account I had paid for, which was disappointing. Now that my exams are over, I intended to cancel my subscription before the 25th of October. Despite my efforts to resolve the login issue by changing my password and trying different browsers, I received no response to my text message to Chegg. Unfortunately, I have been charged $21 for a service I could not utilize for the last two weeks. I would appreciate a refund for the latest payment due to the login difficulties preventing me from accessing my account to cancel the subscription.
