December **, *****Re: American Airlines Tracking ADNDMI, and British Airways Tracking STTIHG, Michael and Joan Stern*Gentlemen:*We made reservations for premium economy seating on American flight **** which was flown by British Air as their Flight *** on November **, ****. Unfortunately that flight was cancelled due to anticipated poor weather and we were rescheduled on alternate flights (American to Phoenix and British Air from Phoenix to Heathrow). For the American leg there was no premium seating and for the British flight we were placed in economy. Therefore, should there not be a refund for that portion of our tickets that were paid for premium economy service where we received economy service? We also paid additional funds for pre-selecting seats, that amount being paid to British Air. We are not requesting a full refund of that ticket, for we received the transportation services, just not the premium class, we paid for, nor for the seats in Premium Economy we also paid for.*I am simultaneously sending this message to both of you so that I am not confronted with each party claiming it is the responsibility of the other.
