I am very confused. A day or so ago I tried booking a car on rentalcars,com. Before it booked the screen went blank and it said Safari can’t ipen page website cannot be found. I assumed it did not go through and I never got a confirmation. **I then booked through Booking.com and picked up the car at the Hertz booth as they were handling Thrifty! I questioned the charge as it was higher than the booking.confirmation. I questioned it and the guy also said I have a credit voucher in the amount of $***. Plus change that’s been paid! Now my credit card has a charge from Hertz (Thrifty) and a charge from Rental Cars. Com. I dint understand if Rebtal. Cars ,com and Booking, com is the same? I’ve Ben charged twice for the same car by two companies! I tried to call rental cars.com of the phone number my credit card had but it won’t go through. I also tried to find if I had a booking from rental cars.com but since I had no confirmation number it could not be found. I tried sending this earlier and it wouldn’t work so then I sent a trail and it went. I desperately need someone’s help to straighten this out!
