I booked thru booking.com for Uptown Square in Atlanta for **** thru Sunday the **st it appears I was charged twice on ******* for *** and again on *********. Arrived at the rental on the **th to check in and nobody was there. I contacted the owner and he said it appears it was double booked. He claims he was contacting booking.com to get it resolved. I didn’t hear back from him for hours. I texted him to find out the status and he told me he would make sure I get a refund. I don’t trust that he will take care of this because of communication has been very limited. We came to Atlanta for a comedy show and it just ended at ** PM and we do not have a room to go to

Booking.com has been very helpful in trying to resolve my issue Still waiting to see if I get the money refunded. Booking.com assisted in getting me another room, however I had to pay upfront for it and that cost me $*** for two nights. So here I thought I paid *** for this trip in regards to lodging. Ended up being billed twice for that and having to fork out the ***. We cut our vacation short by one night because I would’ve had to put out money once again. I supplied booking.com with the email showing I paid them directly and my bank statement that showed the double charge. I have also sent them the receipt for the hotel they set me up at. I don’t feel this was booking.com’s mistake, This all happened because the person that was supplying the room gave our room away and charged me although he should not have because booking.com already did. Besides getting my money back, my hope is that booking.com will no longer use this person for room rentals.
