Name of r*server: Sueann Gurley**Hello, my friend sueann Gurley r*serv* * room for * people at Comfort Inn Brampton which had, included breakfast, reserve now, pay later and free cancellation until the day before the our check in date* November **, ****. She cancelled the room because her husband decided that he is no longer coming. At the same hotel she made a new reservation with the same policies above for two people* her and myself. However, the hotel charged her the full payment of the first $***.** CAD, which was not suppose to happen according the photos that was screenshot* clearly stating the changes she can make, from the hotel website. The policies mean that she can reserve and pay once we got to the hotel and she can change or cancel reservation with any fees. Since yesterday we’ve been calling booking.com and the hotel and they both been blaming each other that the other one has to refund her so no one is doing this. I obtain a degree in law and society this is exactly why I told her to screenshot the photos before she made the reservations because he says, she says does not work when evidence is required for litigation or any other purpose. My friend may not be able to explain herself properly but I know how to do so. I am just asking kindly that she is refunded her $***.**CAD to her card please. Booking.com went against hotel policy and infringe the right of a customer and this will call for some actions if she does not get her refund. It is only fair enough that she gets her first refund because she respected her end of her agreement and cancelled within the required time frame and also she still has a reservation for * people at the same hotel. *Thank you kindly for your cooperation and understanding. **NB: I cannot put both of our emails so I will like to receive an email at *****@***.com *on some kind of resolution please. Thank you
