I and wife recently had to cancel booking on long trip through mountains in New Mexico US. Unable to do this online or after calling hotel directly- attempted at some prolonged effort to avoid calling. This is not user friendly on the website- sorry for ed comment.*Had made reservation one hour prior to these calls and plans had changed- but cell service in mountains is not ideal.*Two phone calls were made on my cell by wife (I was driving in mountains...). Those calls were supposedly to an *** number which we all assume is toll free in US.*Verizon is now billing me $**.** (US of course) for these "international calls".* If that is correct- it is a SCAM!!!*Believe me I have already talked to VZ.**if nothing can be done to correct this- rest assured I will never use Booking.com again.**This should be stated clearly on website-----AND this process should be improved for your customers.
