The issue in GetHuman-willsonn's own words
I made a reservation for a quality inn, in Medford Or. For Aug. *rd, confirmation number is**********, PIN number ****. I needed to cancel because of some unexpected automobile expenses. I explained to booking why I needed to cancel and they text back that it was a no money back room. I didn’t see that when I booked. I would never have booked a non refundable room as I was traveling with an ill person. Booking said they would ask the hotel if they could refund the room fee because of the circumstances. I didn’t hear back so I called the hotel, they said they could do nothing on their end, it is all in the hands of Booking. I called Booking, John said he would put me on hold and call the hotel himself. He came back with, I’m sorry but the hotel will not refund the room cost, that would be breaking policy. So now I have Booking telling me it’s the hotel and the hotel saying it’s Booking. Who do I believe? I believed Booking, that was a mistake. I called the hotel and talked to another person. She explained it very well to me. If she were to cancel the reservation, Booking would be calling her and asking her why she canceled one of Bookings no money back rooms. I see how it is. Booking wants me to believe it’s the hotels fault, not Booking. I am a ** year old lady living on a fixed income. For Booking to not refund my money Is implorable. It is a sad way to make money because I mistakenly checked the wrong box. I hope to hear back from Somone at Booking with a solution to refunding me back my room cost, after all that is what your text said to me in the first place.*Thank you*Louise Willson
