A couple months ago I bought a new car stereo and made an appointment to have it installed. Then they shut down for the covid-** stuff and said they'd call me when they were taking appointments again. Never heard back (my appt was for March **) so I tried to call my local store (Coon Rapids MN) - nobody answers even during "open" hours, after about ** rings. So, I tried "chat" where I was told there was a ** minute delay. Called the main BB number and there I was told it would be * hours and * minutes' wait due to "unusually high call volume." NOW COME ON. There's hardly anyone shopping in the store, so why can't you have someone available to answer the **** phone? And how can you be so taken by surprise by "unusually high call volume" (which by the way has been "unusually high" every time I've EVER called Best Buy) that you have a * hour wait to talk to a person on your main number?* This is the EXACT OPPOSITE of customer service. It's sloppy, careless, and does **** for your image. I don't know who set this up but he or she should be out looking for a different job as of six months ago
