I was recently returning an item that I bought November **th. I have the receipt and was told that I could not return the item because the holiday return time had passed. I think it is wrong to limit the return policy around the holiday and to assume that every item purchased between November and December is for christmas. This item was a birthday gift for after the return date which I was not aware of. I was planning to make a purchase on my visit so would have accepted a store credit but was not given that option. I was simply told there was nothing that could be done. I did not buy anything and will not buy anything at best buy any more. I will also tell my friends and family to think twice before shopping at best buy. I have never had any trouble with the store before and I am very disappointed with this outcome.
