Get a temporary short term loan ... Four weeks ago I applied for a heloc on my condo. I made it clear from the beginning that my home is a condominium and is part of a *** unit complex of which ** units are rented and the remaining ** units are unrented primary and secondary homes. I just learned after a month that despite excellent credit and income and deposits exceeding $***,*** that I was turned down on a **% LTV heloc because B of A doesn’t do any loans for properties they consider “condotels”. Had their personnel understood their product line I would have been advised of this situation. So much for using your friendly banker for a “no-brainer” loan. My bad for using B of A in the first place.
They simply do not know their product line and criteria and don’t mind wasting the time of their customers
I would like to be notified by the head of home equity lending as to why their employees are so poorly trained.
My account with Capital One was hacked so i had to change banks a couple of months ago. My wife advised against using B of A but I wouldn’t listen to her.
Yes emailing the account rep and processor as to their wasting my valuable time.
