Just trying to check in. ... I booked * tickets from Mia-JFK-Hong Kong-Singapore with Aadvantage Miles. *The first flight is on AA and the remaining are on Cathay Pacific. AA's site lists passenger first name, last name on boarding pass, while Passport has First, Middle and Last Name. Cathay Pacific is refusing to release boarding passes because it doesn't match. They say AA needs to reticket. I've been on hold for more than an hour. Just got a call back and the agent instantly said she doesn't do International and forwarded call and now I'm being told it is at least another half hour wait or longer. This is so frustrating--has taken more than *.* hours already between Cathay and AA. I'm supposed to get up at *:** a.m. and it's already *:** p.m. Please have someone call me ASAP!
Is that this is extremely frustrating because I'm getting the run-around from their partner Cathay Pacific. After waiting more than ** minutes for a call from American, the attendant simply said, "Oh, I don't handle international flights" and clicked off to transfer me to another line, where it has been more than ** minutes and counting.
Fixing the problem immediately so that I can get boarding passes for all segments of the flights. I'm supposed to be awake in * hours now--haven't been able to go to sleep since I don't have the boarding passes fixed. No one available to talk to.
I've been a long term customer of AA and have generated enough miles to buy two business class tickets from Miami to Singapore through JFK and Hong Kong.
Have scoured the web site but there is no way to fix online. Cathay Pacific insisted that I call AA to get it fixed, but now at *.* hours and counting, I can't get a live person to help at AA.

American Airlines

* Business Class tickets purchased back in March **** using AAdvantage Miles. Now Cathay Pacific won't issue boarding passes for their portion saying AA has to reissue the tickets due to ***** up on boarding pass*passport mismatched names (first name, last name on boarding pass and first name, middle name, last name on passport.) I entered all info on AA web site but boarding pass only shows first and last name.
