Reference order ****-*******-*******:*This item arrived today and it is a used item. I did not order used...I ordered new. (Yes, it was billed used but that is not what I ordered.) It was intended to be a Christmas gift. I'm a long time Amazon customer. I realize no one is perfect but I am surprised this item passed inspection even as a used item. (It has an Amazon warehouse-deals inspection sticker on it. The mounting "tape" is so badly damaged that it won't stick to anything, let alone a car dashboard. The box itself looked like **** and both of the inside plastic bags had been opened and not resealed in any way. I'm disappointed. Maybe you guys are getting a bit too big for your britches and you think your customers will accept this kind of sloppy, careless treatment. Maybe some will. I won't. I had intended to do all of my Christmas shopping on Amazon, but I'm going to forgo that and go elsewhere this holiday season, go out to actual brick and mortar stores, like the old days. I suggest you remember that just because you are such a huge company now that you can't get away with treating your customers this way. Lots of companies have made that mistake and many are now out of business. Be smart. Stay hungry and be competitive by making sure you treat each customer as if he*she were you only customer. That's one of the aspects of Amazon that I always appreciated, and why I've been a loyal customer for so long. Maybe that has changed. I'm going to see what it's like to not be an Amazon customer.
