Dear representative,**In order to earn *% points on Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market purchases, my husband and I applied for an Amazon credit card. During the Prime Day promotion at Whole Foods Market, we learned that only Prime Member can get the *% reward instead of the *% we were earning, so we joined Prime using **-day trial version to see if that is true. When I asked how Amazon will know that I am a Prime member and give me the *% reward, I was told I should let them scan the bar code on my Amazon Shopping App. Today I received my Chase credit card statement, but to my utter disappointment, I was still given the *% reward points. After several hours of phone calls to Chase credit card service and Amazon customer service, talking to a number of people, I was finally told that I should go in to my Amazon account and manually upgrade my Amazon credit card. I spent a lot of money on purchases this past month thinking that I am getting the *% reward, therefore am now very upset about the whole situation. I am planning to pay for the full year Prime membership, but would like to ask for credit for the *% difference between the *% (which I am supposed to earn) and the *% (which I actually earned). I got mis-information from Whole Foods cashiers and wasn't informed enough from Amazon customer service. You sent me email telling me about the Amazon shopping App which I was not aware before. You also sent me email about Amazon Restaurant which I didn't know before either. Why don't you send me an email to inform me of the crucial step to get the *% reward, which is do it myself from my account. ( I thought your system will do it automatically).
